When was the last time we performed well not using a 3 atb? It seems this club only works with 3atb, Tuchel wanted to implement a back 4, failed miserably. When Conte came he wanted to play a back 4, went down the toilet before changing back to 3atb and won the PL. Idk why but this club is just able to perform with a 3 atb You fool. Conte started the 3 atb trend in PL. We haven't been able to switch back since.

Boehly's project is all about "vision", Jorghi says he likes that Arsenal has a great vision and they know how to materialize it and so on… too much to be a coincidence imo, he must have been rather bitter here in recent times. Of course he would be bitter, went from playing alongside Kante/Kovacic who helped cover his defensive issues and lack of mobility...to playing alongside whichever midfielder was fit this season under Potter. Gets to go to Arsenal who already have a solid midfield setup and he's not under that much pressure anymore.

Am I reading this right; people don't like port? I introduced a young woman to the joys of port and stilton on Christmas day. I think she's going to love me for the rest of her life. Port with stilton is what evolution had in mind when it built opposable thumbs. They are for holding glasses of port boys and girls. Love blue cheese but isn't Port in the same league as sherry something like Santa comes out only once a year 😄
Hot Dawg 17
People who sent Potter death threats are probably the sort of 12 years old on Twitter who say things like get out of my club despite the only club they are in is the local boy scouts. xPetrCechx, dimmas, Laylabelle and 1 other 2

I may remember wrong, but year after year it's like complete mess and we are getting on track three weeks later. Not using this as an excuse for Potter (since he wasn't in charge right after preseason), I'll admit that in general, looking at the past decade or so, we've gone on to have relatively poor seasons after really bad preseasons. At least going far back as Ancelloti and Mourinho mk2 In Ancellotis 2nd season we had a poor season, although we did recover really well late on to finish 2nd., so the standards for a 'bad season' were different then. DH1988 1,348
My my my, such sensationalist and opportunistic headlines it’s actually boring and ridiculous. Not endorsing them at all, categorically not, though you can go on Twitter or any social platform after a team plays badly or it’s an individual player mistake and you can find vile individuals posting such comments from every single club, there is no requirement to highlight this from those people who claim to be our fans. I can make up an account now and go post something vile to Brendan as Lei are 1-0 down, irrespective you could find them anyway from Lei ‘fans’, utterly ridiculous. DH1988 1,348
I haven’t seen the comments from Jorgi but ultimately until Arsenal win the premier league, keep it shut, same as the fact a lot of pundits seem to forget the fact it isn’t Arterta’s first season, either. I will defend Potter and the club where needed, to say having a vision and not knowing how to realise it, I had a good read on the Dodgers a few nights ago, not that we should accept sinking to Arsenal’s level, I don’t care what anyone says (with my blue glasses on), our club IS different, insane amount of jealousy toward us and I look forward to Todd’s vision coming to fruition. I’d love Simon over at a talk sport to elaborate on the things he apparently knows about Tuchel as well. Hopefully though said this every game and so far it hasn't materalised we can really work on attack and get our difference from 0 to maybe double figures..that be nice seeing as think highest we've gone is 5 or something and just gone back to 0 again. Or score more then 1 goal..or win that to be fantastic. YorkshireBlue and Vesper

These comments are harsh, I think you will find been a mid table manager is a harder job than been a top 4 manager, course he deserves to be here, he's worked his way up the system and landed a top job, fair play to the man. Just because you see a new squad of talented players doesn't mean they should play beautiful football from the off. Your problem is and yes this is your problem, judging by your comments your young, more than likely you have supported Chelsea during the Roman era and it's the only way you know, this has never happened to you before, a manager not sacked after 5 bad game's, "what the fuck is happening" you calling out the owners saying they are useless etc. NO they are not, this is how they have decided to run THEIR football club, and let's be honest that scares the shit out of you. Tomo 21,751
Managers can't win really. If you overachieve at a lesser side it's "show us your medals" and if you then can show said medals it's "look at the teams you had even I could have done that". He hasn't even overachieved at Brighton, what are we talking about here? Brighton are absolutely flying this season without him and the likes of Moyes saved West Ham from relegated and after had back to back Top 7 finishes and no one here thinks he is a top manager but for some reason Potter finishing once in the Top 10 now means he accomplished something. Of course Moyes is a top manager, he's a premier League manager, he can't manage a club in a higher league in English football, that's alone makes him a top manager. Vesper 30,224
On 24/02/2023 at 14:51, YorkshireBlue said: Port Asin the drink? I'm addicted to not drinking it, it's fucking horrible. There are many utterly superb vintage Ports out there. Some bottles go for hundreds or even thousands of pounds. Rare Madeira (especially the hundred to even 200 plus year olds) bottles can be even more. I am not talking about some of the dodgy cat piss you often find in grocers and offies. Vintage Port Wines https://www.wine-searcher.com/regions-vintage+port Vintage Port is the most expensive and prestigious member of the Port family. Though accounting for just a fraction of total Port production, Vintage Port is the Douro's flagship style, produced only from a single vineyard in an exceptional year. A Vintage is "declared" in only when both the quality and quantity of the available fruit align. Samples are submitted to the Institute of Douro and Porto Wine in January, two years after harvest. After tested and tasted for quality assessment, vintage declarations are made by the end of June. Vintage Port is made from the best grapes in the Douro, typically from the Cima Corgo subregion. The grapes are left to achieve full ripeness before they are picked, vinified and then fortified with high-proof grape spirit. Vintage Port spends a short time aging in barrel – only two to three years – and is bottled, unfiltered, when it is still very dense and full of sediment. This is why Vintage Port's minimum bottle-aging period is considered to be 15 years, and it is often said that no other wine requires as much time in bottle to balance itself. The finest examples are capable of vitality well after 50 years. As technological advances improve wine-making equipment and the ability to predict weather forecasts, it is likely that port houses will be producing years of Vintage Port more and more often. Recent widely declared vintage years include 1994, 1997, 2003, 2007 and 2011. Critical successes have helped bring about a renewal of interest in the style, and Vintage Port is often considered as an alternative to Bordeaux or Burgundy as an addition to the cellar. Decanting Vintage Port prior to serving is necessary, as the sediment in the bottle can often become crusty over time. snip https://islandwinestore.com/gb/blog/post/33/most-expensive-port-wine 1. This port wine was made from a single vintage and was aged for decades in oak barrels, resulting in a complex, rich flavor. It is considered to be one of the finest port wines ever produced. Other expensive port wines include Quinta do Noval Nacional Vintage Port 1945, which sold for €5,000, and Quinta do Noval Nacional Vintage Port 1940, which sold for €4,000. All of these wines are produced in the Douro Valley and aged for decades in oak barrels, resulting in a unique flavor and aroma that is prized by connoisseurs. Port wine is made by fortifying grapes juice before it ferments and adding grape brandy during the fermentation process of the blend. This gives the wine a strong, sweet flavor with a reddish-brown color. The flavor of port wine can range from floral and fruity to complex and rich depending on the type and age of the wine. Port wine is a unique and complex drink that can be enjoyed by connoisseurs and novices alike. The price of port wine can fluctuate depending on the availability and demand for a certain vintage, making it an interesting and ever-changing market.
