I would rather the geezer from Inter Milan or Kounde in all honesty..

Kounde is a real top prospect, I think he could be one of the best i nthe World and he plays DM extremely well too.

True, I want to believe most is bullshit rumours but being reported by Matt worries me to say at least.

He cant survive the physicality and aerial duels of the league...

I wonder if the club judges the situation clearly 100 mil for an average 28 years with little to no resale value or pay 160-180 millions for Haaland who will hand us top notch performances, has marketability and resale value to recoup almost all the investment in a few years, really makes you wonder.

It will be interesting what we do, one of the reason I am skeptical we make big moves is because we have a big squad and many of our expensive signing recently are underperforming. Werner, Pulisic, Havertz, Ziyech. I think they will be hesitant to spend big, they will give these guys another year to prove themselves.

Haaland is not moving this summer and there'll be a mad rush to sign him next summer. Even  winning the Champions League does not make Chelsea any better prospects in this race

Assuming we offer twice as much as his 65 mil release clause next year do you really think Dortmund wouldn't start discussing it?

Dortmund will accept even 75m - that's not the issue next year - its all down to the player

I meant offering this year twice as much as his release clause.

Also wonder why we never looked into Depay would take him on a free over Lukaku any day of the week.

Ziyech is still a great player to have in our disposal. I can't really see any of our attackers having worse seasons than this first one.

Sancho would be ideal, but it appears Tuchel only wants a ST and improve his current attackers bar Tammy/Giroud.

I do think Ziyech offers a different skillset to the rest of our attackers which can be extremely useful at times. I think particularly against some of the teams that will look to sit in deep against us, his eye for a pass and willingness to take a shot around the edge of the area could still come in very handy next season. As a rotation option I've got no issues with him staying. He's hardly set the world alight but you have to believe like Werner and Havertz, there's more to come from him.

If he wants to leave or is a bargaining chip for a key target then fair enough, but I wouldn't look at him in the same way as Drinkwater or Bakayoko and think there's absolutely no chance of him being good enough to make a success of himself here.

prefer that they both go to Villa if they keep Grealish. Well, Tammy on a permanent transfer and Billy on loan.

Tammy will be sold unless he agrees to sign an extension and go on loan. At this moment in time we could probably get £35-£40m for him, as Watkins went for £35m last Summer and their are always teams desperate for CF's.
