I honestly dont see any of those qualities in him. He reminds me of Kepa if anything and not much better to be honest. We will have to agree to disagree on this one.

I don’t necessarily think Mendy is worlds better then him, but the only advantage I can give Mendy is that he actually comes for crosses quite a lot. Both goalkeepers arent the best in my opinion but for this season we will have to settle for Mendy and next year we can fix our defense permanently along with the GK position (that will depend if we can move Kepa).
No problem. I would say he's like Kepa in his first season in that he's good for penalties lol.

Hahaha who wanted this guy?  he would get along very well with Kepa, they would both refuse to do something together

Well he did play the game though. Maybe media just blowing steam...

Kai Havertz to Chelsea will be announced very soon. -

''SOON ''  -over two months .

To be fair, BILD constantly gets misquoted. They only said the fact that he wasnt at Leverkusen yesterday COULD indicate he's leaving soon.

Nevertheless it really feels like its time now.

Would be a bit of a downer to end the window with Kepa remaining as our #1 or with us buying a new keeper to "compete" with him. We don't need competition, we need a clear upgrade. Would be almost funny if we don't upgrade our most glaring need in our highest spending summer ever.

Can already picture Thiago Silva throwing his hands up and saying "oh, come on!" when Kepa lets in a bunch of easy goals.

Really, I just don't want to see literally every opponent regardless of stature playing for setpieces and corners to target our keeper. We had relegation fodder and shithouse clubs with -30 goal differences coming against us and scoring by targeting our small, weak keeper. That can't happen again.

Apparently we can’t get rid of him. We shot ourselves in the knee there with a rocket launcher panic buying him for 80m€ on a fat ass contract. That deal will cripple our long term plans for the whole decade. Worse than Torres
