According to Uli Hoeneß who is a board member at FC Bayern. Jackson’s loan only becomes an obligation at Bayern “if he PLAYS 40 games from the START.” 😳

Additionally he claims Jackson’s agent paid €3m of the loan fee. [@iMiaSanMia]

This isn't surprising, why would Bayern agree to such a high obligation fee without favourable terms.

Santos and Estevao make it amazing. Angelo was sold for profit without even playing here. Mentioning all the players we didn't even sign to call out recruitment? 😆 way better than under Roman with Kenedy, Nathan, Wallace...

Roman had Oscar, Ramires and Willian

They make up for some of those 'dodgy' signings 😆

We spoke about scouting in Brazil. Willian and Ramires were already in Europe.

We didn't miss Endrick, he decided to sign for Madrid over us. If he struggles to get a first team place I still think that there may be a deal to be done with him.

It was well reported back in the day that we backed off the deal because of price. Looks good decision tbh

Pedro is starter now in Brazil

Sterling needs to be banned from all Chelsea property. He is refusing a buyout (I do NOT want to pay him anything remotely close to the £34m he will earn and let him walk now) and also he is refusing all transfers unless it's a London club and he gets his full current salary, which will likely never happen.

Just freeze him out for the next 2 years. Further reduce his career.

What a shitshow. What a horrid buy, what a horrid decision to pay the plonker £85m in salary. One of the worst transfers in EPL history.

The problem, of course, is that none of this is Sterling's fault. Many of us were furious when he was linked, and apoplectic when he was signed. He should not have been recruited. Not even as a free transfer on a trialist contract. The people, or person, who made the sporting and financial decisions is/are to blame.

The bad decisions aren't limited to the ones which were made when Raheem joined from City. No doubt there was some Club who made us an exploitative offer to take the player on loan this summer. Something like no loan fee, and Chelsea cover 80%, or more, of his wages. If it was made such an offer should have been accepted.

In the absence of any kind of move for Sterling we are stuck with implied contractual obligations to provide him with top level training facilities and opportunities. This necessarily includes professional grade players to practice with and against. If we made the emotionally satisfying decision to ban him from Cobham we'd run the risk of being sued.

I didn't say do not pay him. We have to. But I see no reason for him to be around the club facilities.

I also, if the only buy-out the he will accept is 100 per cent of what we owe him (and the prick could then 'double dip' on his pay packet for the next 2 years, as his new club would also pay him a salary), then I say just let him rot until July 2027.

I blame Boehly from the start for signing him for insane money (given his age and decline) and salary

I also fully admit (always did) that we are contractually obligated to pay Sterling

but there is nothing irrational about keeping him away from the rest of the team

  • Liverpool will not make a move for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi in January. The Reds failed in a £35m move for the 25-year-old England international last week and would only sign him now when his contract comes to an end next summer. (Times)

IF Penders fails to become viable and we still refuse to upgrade then we are in serious trouble I fear at GKer.

It isn't like there are even many options left now.

Diogo Costa
Mike Maignan
Guillaume Restes

and three 30-somethings bridge (to Penders) players

Jan Oblak
Emiliano Martinez
Alisson    (IF he leaves Pool next summer)

Not 100 per cent sold on Zion Suzuki

Kobel is poor with his feet

I watch Seria A and from what i seen of Mike Magnain, sorry we need someone much better than him, his probably on same level as our keepers.

His contract includes an obligation to keep himself football fit and therefore implies a responsibility on CFC to provide him with facilities and opportunities to do that. My reply was carefully worded.

Not only that, he will then almost certainly also be entitled to a share in any bonuses earned by the first team squad over the next two seasons. I say 'almost certainly' since specific clauses we can't know about may restrict his eligibility for bonuses. I just doubt that a player in so strong a bargaining position as to command a ridiculously large transfer fee and a monster contract would then fail to negotiate automatic inclusion in any bonus pay outs. In all probability CFC would aim to include a one-off payment in any settlement in leu of future bonus entitlement.

Guessing they are confident he has chosen them and believe that they can get him for free in next summer's window.
