nyikolajevics 2,713
It's been discussed wheter we should buy Sancho, sell Madueke, but didn't see anyone mention the possibility of offloading Neto. Are you all happy with him? I feel Jadon, Noni, Palmer and hopefully Estevao all have something to offer that other players cannot. Neto's skillset is too simple, no end product, no good against solid defence. He is 25, a player who makes a living with his pace but has a solid injury history, I don't feel his ceiling is any more higher.
Pizy 18,996
If you’re Ekitike, why would you even want to come to Chelsea after seeing us sign Delap and already have Jackson here? It makes little sense from either our perspective or his.

mkh 627
Remember that Chelsea love Jamie Gittens from Dortmund. He is one of the players on the list, not the only one. So for sure, he's one of the players they are considering. @FabrizioRomano

And did nothing there despite no one wanting to play CF. That isn't exactly a ringing endorsement. It's frustrating seeing us go all in for someone who has done very little to warrant such interest. If the board watched Frankfurt, did they not see Marmoush carry the team offensively for months? Edited May 29 by LAM09

Yeah, and that worked out terribly for him and it felt like he was there for 5 minutes. Don't know if he wants a repeat of that scenario. Sesko looks to me to be more of a risk whereas Gyokeres feels like he’d seamlessly slot in to a Arse/Chelsea/Liverpool and hit the ground running. If Arse do indeed go for Sesko though I wonder where that leaves Gyokeres in terms of options. The usual big boys Madrid, Barca, and Bayern don’t need a #9. The big Italian sides are usually broke. City have Haaland. Suppose there’s an outside chance United pull a Casemiro/Di Maria/Varane and massively shell out for a superstar when nobody expected it. But that’s exactly what got them into the mess they’re in now. Handing players monster wages. I see two options that could emerge soon. Liverpool have not yet signed a striker and will replace Darwin. It could be that they go to Gyokeres Barca want a striker too but are not yet committing to signing players due to their finances. He goes to Liverpool and they may dominate the league like Pep did for a few years so hopefully it’s not there. Barca would be picture perfect for them but as you say who knows if they can make it work financially.

What else can explain every too club not immediately going and starting a sweepstakes once the season ended? Or maybe everyone has already been informed that he only wants one particular club and is sitting back and waiting until that deal is sealed? Haven't watched him but going through the internet for reasons - Looks like there are doubts he can handle the Premier League's defenders. He has two seasons in the Championship and two seasons in the Portuguese league. He rarely scores headers and without his box contribution, there are doubts his technical level is good enough. ZAPHOD2319 4,824
It sounds like they will let him do both, just as we lose 5 players to the England squad. This was retweeted by Simon Phillips.
OneMoSalah 8,893
Delap deal agreed and Sancho signing permanently… really? Which ex Man City youngster we signing next? 🙄 Would love us to go for Eberechi Eze this summer but hes actually really good so we probably won’t. Plus he’s 26. So probably too old. Also not surprised Gyokeres isn’t priority for us (no shit sherlock), Arsenal (Sesko #1 target) or even Liverpool by sounds of it (probably feeling the burn from signing Nunez from Benfica still). Portuguese league is very flattering. He will never score half those goals in a more competitive league. Edited May 29 by OneMoSalah
