I personally would rather we searched the market for an alternative to Caicedo.

He's a good player, potentially very good, but Brighton will want £80m+ or leverage on a Colwill deal. He's simply not worth either of them.

If he was playing for a mid table side in one of the other top leagues, he'd be half the value. I understand the thought process behind buying players with Premier League experience but that still guarantees nothing and you pay inflated prices to boot. All the players we bought last season with Prem experience were amongst our poorest performers last season.

I struggle to look at Caicedo and not think that an alternative to him can be found for a fraction of the price if we actually do a bit of scouting outside of the South Coast of this country.

Manu Kone

Been repping him for ages.

Havertz is more than good enough, our problem is we have tried to turn him into a 9

There is no other position on the pitch where you don't need to be able to trap a ball or pass it. What skills does he have to play deeper?

Just because Real Madrid want Havertz (rumoured) does not mean they see things better. Bayern Munich thought they got one over us with Thomas Tuchel. So far, rumours are he might not even last a season, certainly not by the way they are playing.

Go back and watch him play in Germany, where he doesn't play as a 9

Never thought I'd see the day the Bermuda triangle fuck off. (Mount, Havertz, Gallagher).

Watch us become stuck with the worst of that triangle going into next season.

Starting every game with his baby giraffe-like touch.

Still say to this day that the Lukaku thing from Inter was plan to raise mass amounts of money for Inter but the long term plan was for Lukaku to kick up a fucking big stink and he gets loaned back- At the time Inter were strapped for cash and I swear they sat don and planned it

Keepers like Onana and Maignan are really great shot stoppers but I wish we’d go after a keeper who’s a superb distributor as well. Onana looks very mediocre in that aspect.

Diogo Costa looks unbelievable with his feet like Ederson or Allison but would apparently cost near Kepa money which we obviously will never do again.

€60m for Maignan is insanity!!

Wtf

I'm hoping their supposed interest in RLC and possibly Ziyech would significantly lower a potential fee.
