But what almost cost us massively last seaosn was that we had to run Jorginho and kante into the ground after Kova got injured. we really can not afford to go through this mammoth season with just 3cms. As we have not registered an additional CM, i guess that all the dregs including RLC will be gone soon. Really getting nervous about this. last season we at least had Billy to help out a few times but now we are absolutely paper thin.

I would absolutely love Locatelli. Unreal on the ball and also puts in a good shift defensively. Young and pretty inexpensive as well. 
 

Juve have been stalling on him all summer. Bet if we went for it we’d get him.

yes, I was just listing CMF's and DMF's I rate to buy (he would deffo be loaned out)

he is the only pure youth buy on spec

2 others, Jude Bellingham and Gravenberch, need another season at Dortmund and Ajax, but both are already full-time starter level, as are all the rest of the 14 (15 were listed)

Nicolò Barella is the closest thing out there to Kante on the planet atm IMHO. a free floating wrecking ball with relentless drive

Aurélien Tchouaméni is a freak on nature talent, a crunching DMF with great technical skills

Not how I see it. Nobody is forcing us to buy lukaku for 115m, which means we could spend that money elsewhere.

Lukaku original sale is not linked to rebuying lukaku.

You lot are not real Chelsea fans at all. I know Lukaku is gonna smash it here he suits us absolutely perfect. I personally cannot wait and believe the premier League is within reach finally!!!

Look I'm trying to be positive about this. This is the only positive I can find.

I never want to see Tammy laying on the floor in our shirt again...

I don't want Lukaku - but I have to support the club.

Just wish we could have shipped Baka, Barkley or Drinkwater into them... oh well it's done and no amount of alcohol will change it 🤣

People are entitled, myself included, to be dubious of this signing. Although, I hope for the positives 👍

I honestly think we need the midfield sorted before we can challenge for the league. It's a marathon not a sprint - still think City have the best squad and we ended up quite far behind in 4th... Leicester looked pretty solid - so expect them to be in the mix again TBH. Possibly Liverpool might shit the bed again...
