Maresca clearly didn’t feel he’s ready for Chelsea and he’d be in the exact same situation here as he was last season. He would rarely see the pitch. He needs to stay at Sunderland and play. If Jackson doesn’t return and we need a striker it NEEDS to be someone who can start matches if necessary whether that’s together with João Pedro or by themselves. Guiu is not the latter. He is negotiating with Italian clubs. But can't see him being an option honestly. Questionable personality and doesn't suit with our squad.
