Guardian reporting that there is a higher desire for us to bring in a winger than Simons, Nkunku needs to find a buyer or he stays as a 10

So as it stands it's going to be Garnacho in, Nkunku staying and no Simons deal at all

He plays very similarly to Xavi Simons to my eye. Likes to be heavily in the mix in that #10 area. Excellent technically and great in tight areas as you’d expect with a Barca product.

If we weren’t after Simons you can absolutely see why we’d be interested in Fermin. He perfectly fits the profile. But for me Xavi is slightly better and I think suits moving to the PL easier.
