Grealish, Savinho, and Mcatee are all going so it makes sense for them to try for Xavi.

We should wait for any of the reputable reporters to say anything but it would serve us right if he goes to a direct rival in the span of a couple of days after we’ve been “advanced” and dragging or feet for weeks.

Our fanbase will rightly be enraged if we not only miss out on him but to a rival where he could kill us multiple times per season for years. And then to top it all off sign Garnacho…

i would gladly take omorodion, wissa instead of jackson

Wissa, yeah. If you've watched Samu, you'll know he's far too raw for a top side (might never turn into much).

How can someone watch CWC final and say I want Donnarumma over Sanchez?

One match doesn't define a player. If you watched Donnarumma during Italy's Euros triumph or PSG's CL 24/25 campaign, you'll know these two names shouldn't even be in the same sentence. Sanchez deserves his dues for his CWC final performance but that's it.

Been hearing good things about about Zion Suzuki.

I'm not sure where from. Every time I've seen him play for either Japan or Parma, he's been a mess. Reminds me of Onana.

According to @sachatavolieri, Man City have entered the race for Xavi Simons!

If you wait, you'll find out. If losing out on him meant Rogers/Yildiz were to join instead, I wouldn't be fussed about this news.

Seems like Rodrygo is the one they were making space for

I wouldn't mind that honestly

Yeah, said last night here that Rodrygo makes sense for City. More the type of attacker Pep desires right now. A winger who will stay wide and take players on. Xavi is very much a Pep #10 but they already have Foden and Cherki.

Sounds odd to say about such a top player, but I’d be glad if City go for Rodrygo and leave us to Xavi.
