Not bad we pretty well recoup all of his fees if we take into account his contribution to top 4,conference league and club World Cup wins

and if we sold nico as a profit we would made profit with madueke, NJ and KDH

Three players that are not good enough for us as a long term solution but we would sold them with profit

not bad at all

£30m plus bonuses for Garnacho I’d be fine with but is he going to throw a strop vs Gittens.

I think we would be silly to even offer that, utd want over £50m

They paid £420k for him and it shows!

What a grift

For Bradley Barcola to leave PSG, two conditions must be met. Barcola must indicate that he wants to leave, and an offer exceeding €100 million must be made to Paris Saint-Germain. Currently, this is not the case. Several clubs, including Liverpool, are interested in him.

EXCL - Liverpool Football Club set to proceed with a concrete offer to Paris Saint-Germain! Reds very determined to transform their interest into a bid during recent talks. Deal won’t be under €100M. Isak situation explains this LFC new strategy.

Man Utd contact Brighton via intermediaries to explore conditions of deal for Carlos Baleba. BHAFC do not plan to sell this summer & all sides aware move may be unrealistic. But MUFC keen + should know in coming days if plausible or not.

How are United making all these transfers and contemplating more, without one sale yet. Wasn't United making staff redundant because their financial situation was supposed to be so bleak...

So yet another summer when all the journalists said at the start of the window that Man United are broke and MUST sell to buy and then they go out and spend crazy money. They haven’t sold 1 player yet.

I would hate it if they can pull this off. Baleba has legitimate world class potential just like Caicedo did leaving Brighton. And it would annoy the shit out of me if Brighton suddenly capitulate and let him go for reasonable money after taking us to the cleaners whenever we negotiated with them.

He + a new keeper would be transformative for United and make them a genuine threat to us and the others in the top 4.

@JacobsBen:

Acheampong (situation) is complicated as Chelsea value him & genuinely think he's not too far off being a serious player for the club. Bournemouth already made an inquiry & said they were very serious about making a bid. it was shut down ~2 weeks ago by CFC.

I defo would be up for loaning him there. Iraola play the progressive football from the back. Would like to see this happen. Tremendous talent and glad the board are not wanting to sell him. Serious talent.

Signings we've made and linked to indicate a return to Maresca's plan A formation from majority of last season where Gusto looked 3rd tier and Acheampong looked comfortable like a seasoned pro. Is what we'll be using rather than the Plan B that used in CWC where Gusto is good in. Plus Acheampong can play multiple positions and RCB has solid options but still open for him to take over.

True. They were using that as excuse to chuck people on the scrapheap. They're being cute, spreading the cost of the payments over the whole of the contract. Also  Rashfords salary about 325k a week is paid by Barca and they have millions from sell on clauses coming in.

I think it’s more to do with if they don’t get champions league football again for a few years they are fucked financially, is this a rash attempt to get back into the top 4 if so it’s either extremely brave or stupidity at its highest
