Only so many “wonderkids” we can stockpile in our youth system before some of them decide they have a better pathway to the big stage elsewhere. If I recall correctly, we made a real effort to keep this kid but Liverpool must have really turned his head with the prospect of playing for their first team. Let’s hope this kid isn’t the next Musiala or something who slipped through our fingers. LAM09, mkh and Fernando 1 1

As @Pizy said, he wanted to move. You can't really do much at that point. I still feel it's far too early to come to any conclusion whether he can be added to that list or not. Solanke was the last youngster (of note) that joined them from us and look how that panned out.

I like and respect Fabrizio but him tweeting 15 times about the Simons deal for example basically saying the same thing gets tedious. Because Romano listen to he is followers who keep asking for an update. This is why he reposting it
Special Juan 28,194
Romano and Ornstein are like chalk and cheese but I like the way both operate. One is full of information and throws it all out there, the other is to the point and random. Years ago you never knew about transfers until you either picked up a paper or put on Teletext, we are spoilt now a days LegenTerry

Liverpool are still looking for another LW so that will be 2 players ahead of Rio. Just like Gittens and Neto are ahead of George. Both will likely leave on loan or get cup scrap minutes. Pizy 18,995
So United formally moving for Sesko now. A situation that I hope doesn’t fuck over our move for Simons. Don’t want Leipzig to do what Brentford are currently doing with Wissa after they sold Mbeumo and not want to lose both. This scenario is why I had hoped we would’ve had it wrapped up by now. As for Sesko to United, I’m actually glad he’s the striker they’ve chosen. I think he’ll be no better than Hojlund. He’s gonna flop for them at least in his first season. I think they would look FAR more dangerous with Ollie Watkins leading their line. Or even Jackson.

I think this suits us best, Newcastle missing out on him means they will go for Jackson. Edited July 30 by TheHulk Pizy

George is 19, Ngumoha turns 17 in a month's time. The latter has time on his side and with Chiesa & Diaz going, he'll have far more chance of breaking into their PL squad and possibly more. I believe George will find it much harder to get gametime this season without the Conference League unless Gittens proves to be a bust (I really hope not). Gakpo is Slot’s preference at LW and they are looking to bring in another LW per Paul Joyce. Don’t agree that he has a better chance.
