Pizy 18,996
I still do t see how Liverpool getting Isak makes any sense after they’ve signed Ekitike for £80m. Isak starts every PL and UCL match if he’s fit. So they’re going to have an £80m striker who just arrived sitting on the bench most games? It’s nonsensical.
mkh 627
BREAKING: Alexander Isak has informed Newcastle of his desire to explore a move this summer. Club aware of player’s plans and will now decide how to move, as @CraigHope_DM reports. Newcastle have already re-started exploring a move for a top striker in the market. mkh 627
LFC told Newcastle prior to signing Hugo Ekitike they were prepared to pay a British transfer record fee. Another attacker is still possible for Liverpool if Luis Diaz is sold, and with Darwin Nunez expected to leave. Another approach is not ruled out. Hilal have told Newcastle they are ready to make a significant offer despite no engagement yet on player side. Isak has not shown encouragement to Saudi so far. mkh 627
Fulham, Aston Villa, Manchester United and West Ham are certainly teams I've heard of, who are interested in Nicolas Jackson. (@Matt_Law_DT)
Pizy 18,996
Isak going to Liverpool doesn’t even bother me at this point tbh. I kind of view it like when City were completely dominating in recent years and still adding top quality players. They were already a 10/10 attacking team so what does adding another star actually do? mkh

I cant agree with tou Isak will elevate their attack to a level that any team can't reach Without Isak, I have more doubts Fernando
JFKvsNixon 59
Isak is a good striker, I don't think that he's £150 million+/£300k+ a week player. He'd also crush our wages structure potentially causing unrest at the club.

Ekitike isnt a pure CF and would be better as a LF.if they don't sign Isak ,they can play Ekitike at CF but they can certainly play together. Special Juan 28,194
Both deals will happen, the Simons news is as solid as what the Madueke to Arsenal noises where. No smoke without fire, get both we have smashed this transfer window Fernando
MoroccanBlue 5,384
Hopefully Simons, Hato, Gittens, Delap, Santos, Essugo, Acheampong, Fofana, should be among the first players to arrive to preseason.
Strike 7,539
I am glad Isak asked to leave after Arsenal finalised Gyokeres deal. Liverpool seem like the most likely destination for Isak. If they lose Nunez and Diaz they’ll be in the market for another forward
Pizy 18,996
Sesko chatter heating up now. We better push to get Simons done before Leipzig decide they don’t want to sell their 2 best players.
