Hato more of a priority to get over the line quickly. Bigger need, far bigger drop off to the next man up at what he offers. Looks like we lowballed them a tad with our first bid.(£34.7) would need to add a young player to get him without a bigger fee..of course they got their eye on atleast one of ours that happens to cover some of the positions Hato does.

If Hato isn't agreed, I get the feeling Arsenal may jump in last minute, they were very keen on him earlier on in the window and Arteta likes his defenders.

I think both Simons and Hato get done.

We need some outgoings though. Nkunku and Felix are surely gone?

Looks like Veiga has gone quiet... hopefully more suitors for him than just Atleti. Jackson going would be huge as that is 60mil in the bank.

Feels like a copy and paste of the same thing we heard this time yesterday. Seems the player side is essentially set but we are still haggling with Leipzig about the fee.

Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United have made enquiries for Christopher Nkunku. But it looks like he would prefer to move abroad.

I'm being told very firmly that Xavi Simons wants to join Chelsea. Sources says it's likely. Even though it's not done but it's looking likely [to happen].

I still do t see how Liverpool getting Isak makes any sense after they’ve signed Ekitike for £80m. Isak starts every PL and UCL match if he’s fit. So they’re going to have an £80m striker who just arrived sitting on the bench most games? It’s nonsensical.

BREAKING: Alexander Isak has informed Newcastle of his desire to explore a move this summer.

Club aware of player’s plans and will now decide how to move, as @CraigHope_DM reports.

Newcastle have already re-started exploring a move for a top striker in the market.

Jackson to Newcastle

Use Jackson money to buy Rogers

What a dream.

LFC told Newcastle prior to signing Hugo Ekitike they were prepared to pay a British transfer record fee. Another attacker is still possible for Liverpool if Luis Diaz is sold, and with Darwin Nunez expected to leave. Another approach is not ruled out.

Hilal have told Newcastle they are ready to make a significant offer despite no engagement yet on player side. Isak has not shown encouragement to Saudi so far.

Fulham, Aston Villa, Manchester United and West Ham are certainly teams I've heard of, who are interested in Nicolas Jackson.
