Pizy 19,383
Xavi Simons is an absolute baller but isn’t he much more of a #10 than a winger?

Always wary of players with agents whoring their player around too.
Special Juan 28,871
Still no Madueke announcement, but with his sale and Petrovic there is 70 odd million. One more attacker, but not Garnacho Fernando

One more attacker, but not Garnacho The Madueke thing is weird. Supposedly everything was signed between the clubs on Monday and still no announcement. Is Arse waiting for Gyokeres to get done so they can soften the blow for their supporters? OhForAGreavsie

Rodgers is my preferred option among the supposedly realistic attacking targets being reported. (It seems Rodrygo's wage expectations make him a non-starter.) Pizy 19,383
I feel like Rogers is probably completely unobtainable this summer. Villa are having a piss poor summer window as it stands and if they were to sell their new star talent their supporters would revolt. Especially as a club which has ambitions of breaking into the UCL places, you don’t do so by weakening yourself and strengthening a club that you’re competing with for those places. If he has a real breakout season and develops even further then I suspect Villa will be demanding Grealish money for him this time next year. Vesper 31,181
Fichajes bollocks, beware: According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, the Argentine is ‘very popular’ amongst Real Madrid management and they are ‘convinced that he would be a key player in dominating the midfield in the coming years.” They also state that the thinking is Fernandez could be the successor to Toni Kroos after the German retired last year. However, to prise him away from Chelsea is expected to cost a significant amount with the publication suggesting the London club would not let him go for anything less than €130m. Chelsea paid Benfica £106.8m in 2023, making him the club’s most expensive signing. To raise that money, Madrid are reportedly willing to let Eduardo Camavinga, Rodrygo and Fran García leave this summer, a trio they hope could raise €150m in transfer fees. I would not sell unless Enzo makes a big fuss about moving to Real Madrid. And if that happens then we should get 100% of what we paid over. 200 million pounds or nothing else.
