Madueke possibly being sold? I must be dreaming, he's an easy way of getting 40-50M for shite

I have said it for a while that he looks to me to be a profit sell in the next few windows. With his passport and getting into the England team he can probably give us a easy £20m+ on the books profit.

Personally, I don't want him sold unless we get someone to replace him who is better and as durable. Gittens is not that so if that is the idea I would rather keep him as he is usable and nowhere near as bad as some people make out. However, someone like Yildiz and that is fine.

We shouldn't be selling him at all. If we lose him, that is already 3 wingers lost in Mudryk, Sancho and Madueke, without buying one. We need to add more wingers. Would be stupid to let him go. Who we going to replace him with? I don't buy the rumours anyway.

Madueke was 100% always a buy and flip

Just the good type - one we don't need to rush to sell and can actually do a job for us in the meantime. Would think this summer is 1 summer early to flip him tbh.

Barring a season long injury to Salah I don’t see how Liverpool don’t win the league again. They’re having one of the best transfer windows ever to add to a side that already walked the league.

Wirtz, Frimpong, Kerkez, Guehi. They have their long term goalkeeper in place for when they allow Alisson to walk with Mamardasvili. And after they sell Darwin Nuñez soon they’ll use that money to probably get Ekitike or Gyokeres.

This is what a club that has their shit together from the top down looks like. They’re going to get all of their business done early in the summer and they’re all quality, proven players who will go straight into their starting XI with the exception of the keeper.

Meanwhile, we’ve been in the “considering” phase for weeks now and haven’t heard about a single deal making any sort of progress since Delap was signed.

Liverpool got a bunch of big names, but pretending we are in anywhere a similar position to them is hilarious.

Walking into a team that was already near the top and needing to make few changes, compared to trying to rebuild an entire team and put in a different approach to the transfer market.

Nah, your missing the point again, this isn't about anyone being in a similar situation the point being made is how to get your transfer business done, identifying areas quickly and not spending weeks and weeks haggling over a few million quid then walking away like some amateurish market trader and spending the rest of the window shitting bricks because your targets are slowly drifting away.

We’re not in rebuild mode anymore at all, though. We aren’t Man United who need to replace nearly their entire XI. Liverpool needed a few strategic transfers to upgrade in a few key positions. Same as us. Striker, keeper, LW.

Is it easier for Liverpool to do their business because they’re coming off of a title win? Absolutely. But attracting top players doesn’t seem to be our issue. A lot of these big names would likely be happy to join us. Our issue is that our owners/directors are penny pinching and refusing to pay the money necessary to get these top players. They will only spend big on teenagers.

We’ve made 1 signing and that was ONLY done quickly because he had a release clause. Otherwise, Liverpool and City both will have made 4 signings before we even got off our asses. Two sides that you would hope our owners have ambitions of competing with this coming season.

I've honestly never seen a more impatient fanbase than on here.

The windows barely been open - and we've secured an area of need - ST. A good player by the looks of it too.

LW is the other big need and GK. The LW market isn't spectacular right now and Maignan isn't some must have in my opinion. If the price is right - sure.

Calling the group a bunch of penny pinchers won't ever stick considering the amounts spent on Neto, Caceido and Enzo.

We're literally one or two signings away from proper competing and acting as if it has to be done today won't make it so.

These owners are fucking useless.

Not useless they done good but I don't want a CB from Ajax. When has a CB lately come from there and been good?

I much rather buy from Botafogo, and I'm still number one waiting for Murillo.

He is predominately a LB? Arsenals last purchase from there turned out pretty well, Timber.

Chelsea have made an inquiry for Joâo Pedro, who is keen on a move to London.

But the Blues will face competition from the likes of Newcastle who are also very keen on the forward.

Chelsea boss Maresca is an admirer of Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers.

By buying younger players on lower wages and spreading the payments over long-term contracts, Chelsea's strategy is to unearth new stars and sell on unwanted talent for a profit.

Based on the starting line up tonight do not be suprised if we sell Andrey Santos for big money this summer, Maresca had the fucking audacity to play Essugo last game and can't even give Santos a start today, this coach is a fucking joker man
