Chelsea Transfers

Chelsea are now doing exactly the same as AC Milan did with us.

They only offered us 9-10M for Pulisic and didn't want to pay more than 10-12M for RLC!!!!

We gave them Giroud, Tomori, Pulisic & RLC for peanuts yet we're supposed to give them whatever they want (30m) for a keeper that turns 30 next month with a year left on his current deal...?

How much would Milan offer us in the same situation, quite glad we're not just rolling over for them - Italian clubs been at it for years.

And we are now stuck with a kid who hasn't kicked a ball..

It's like every transfer we enter into it becomes like a fucking car boot sale

I made a similar comparasion with gallagher and felix. we only buy felix to sell connor because of fpf

I still don't mind keeping the gk we have just as long we get a good CB.

Hato don't do it for me, it has to be Murillo, Bastoni or maybe Hincapie.

Hincapie I kind of lost some interest in him because Bastoni despite with Inter getting shred by PSG is still one of the best out there and for youth with great potential then it's Murillo.

Unless Marquinhos wants to leave PSG since he won CL, he can do a Silva, give us some good last years.

Over and over these jokers are willing to pay silly money for unproven teenagers but when it comes to ready made, plug and play veterans we have to haggle and lowball.

Won’t pay up for Osimhen, Gyokeres, Nico Williams, etc but are perfectly happy spending tens of millions on 60 different teenagers who may never play a minute for Chelsea.

Where’s our Delap announcement, Chels? 😅

They do seem to take longer these days don't they.  There's the arrival video, the photo shoot video, the interview, the sponsors' placements and real life events (like a pre-booked holiday perhaps) sometimes having to be squeezed in as well.

I am going to call it

Mike Maignan is soon at Chels

no more semi critical bleeps from me

although I had other (better IMHO) targets over the past few years, he will almost certainly be a MASSIVE improvement over anything we have now (unless Penders blows up in a few years)

As long as the sporting directors have read your post here about not allowing Penders to experience a long-term loan at a desirable destination where there is a high risk of him putting down roots.

These transfers are also revealing what Maresca really thinks about our players. All year when he was talking a big game about Sanchez I was rolling my eyes because it just felt like there was no way he believed the words he was saying and was just stuck with the guy and saying anything bad would only make the situation worse so he tried to put some confidence in him to get what he could out of him while stuck with him.

Curious who else might be 'surprisingly' for the guillotine - maybe the nicer Maresca is about you the more you're in danger! (he was very positive about Malo Gusto and NJ...)

Well this would certainly be the right public stance for the manager to take.

I feel like it will have to be Jorgensen. Penders is supposedly meant to be part of our CWC squad, but it would be stupid to have him rot on our bench at a crucial time in his development.

We should be able to play him in the Club World Cup, which would count as this season. We would then still have the option to loan him out again, whether that be back to Genk, elsewhere, or even both Genk and one other club over the course of next season.

This club will back away based on 10M difference, yet we are paying Mudryk millions to do nothing and over paying for shite players

I don't know for sure but I would be surprised if we were contractually obliged to pay him during his ban.

As poster above said, Quenda is coming next season and we still don't know how much time he will need adjusting. So it is not too much wingers. We don't know what is going on with Mudryk and this season we will be using a lot more first team players as we will be in the UCL so rotation will be key. I think it would be foolish personally to get rid of him, unless we have better replacements lined up and I don't see that so far.

Agreed. Last season we were able to use squad teams in most cup games. Next season it will be a massive advantage if we are able to use a squad team in some Premier League matches. That's going to require a significant upgrade in the quality of the squad team.
