Matt Law - Chelsea have a belief that Pedro Neto’s numbers will get better with a full healthy season behind him, expected to stick with him; they also felt Neto gave everything every game and played in many positions, they’ve been impressed with the way he’s improved his fitness.

🔵Neto stays

Well i agree on this. Can’t for the life of me understand why people have hated on Neto throughout the season. He may not always produce a goal of an assist but he sure does try.. that’s half the battle with the modern player.

Nico Jackson can and I think WILL develop into a very nice striker. Just not an elite one. So if he’s sold I hope we don’t do so to a rival PL club where he’d have the potential to annoy us.

Madueke, I don’t care. Just get rid. Has some nice qualities but angers me almost every game I watch.

Why are we paying 80 mil for a striker that isn’t an out and out star right now?

What do they see that we don’t with Etikite?

I think strikers in the past the board previous target have come out good. So I will give them the benefit of the doubt in here.

It's in defense that they have been woeful so that one needs more scrutiny. Hence for striker let them do what they want at this point in time.

Lying rats.

He has no clue what's going.

Gittens would just feel like such a “watch how smart we are” kind of signing in that his playing style and skill set are VERY similar to Nico Williams but his wage demands are probably half or a third of what Williams will be after. So if we get Gittens and he blows up these guys can claim they’re geniuses for not going huge on Nico Williams.

Just feels like he’d be such an unnecessary gamble. He’s way more likely to just be “okay” in the same way that Madueke or Sancho have been. And that’s the last thing we need in a new wide attacker. We need someone who we can have a super high level of confidence will come in and elevate our side.

That's what I'm worried about as well. I feel he'll just be another winger who can't be relied on, which is already a big enough problem with the wingers on our books.

Chelsea have been admiring Suzuki from Parma or Trafford from Burnley and ex City youth😷

Admire someone else. Every time I've watched him play for Japan or Parma, he's bee awful. He's like Onana without the passing ability.

@Matt_Law_DT: "If you're buying Nico Williams, you're paying €60m down straight away, and that's a massive commitment.

And then his wages basically equate to about £300,000 a week. So again, you've got to get super creative on the wages to get him in line with Chelsea."

I read that the board could make a exception with wage structure with one single player if he deserved

Maybe Boehly/Egbahli are working in the shadows and will pull another Caicedo/Lavia on Liverpool and steal Wirtz 🤣🤣🤣

In all seriousness, what’s going on with that deal? Sounded done and dusted but now I’ve seen that Leverkusen have declined 2 bids from Liverpool?

Liverpool have agreed personal terms and know Wirtz is just waiting for the clubs to agree a deal. No rush for them after Wirtz picked Liverpool over Bayern, City

Matt Law has no clue what’s going on and is just repeating what he’s reading online.

I’m on board with replacing Jackson and Madueke but the wingers we are linked to has me worried.

In

Liam Delap

Morgan Rogers

Hugo Ekitike

Murillo

Chevalier

Outs

A dozen deadwood

I’d love to go out and buy serious experience to complete the squad but this is the best case scenario I think. Please avoid Sancho and Gittens as the left wingers - will be another season where we struggle to break down defences

Wirts is good but I'm not sure if he would come here.

Oh well, I'm still happy that we got Caiceco and Enzo, I so badly wanted those two players and the club did it.

Now the only other player I really want is Murillo.

I hope they read here, and do the same like they did with Enzo and Caicedo.

Murillo for me would fix our defense for years to come.
