@Vesper would you take him at Chelsea as another option on the wings or too injury prone for us?

At €20m, he is worth a punt. Most all LW options are now, or soon will be, off the table. Gutted that we will almost for sure miss out on Désiré Doué.

Villa have turned down all offers for Morgan Rogers. Juve have refused us multiple times now for Kenan Yıldız (LOVE him). Antonio Nusa seems to have chronic injuries, and a hard pass on Grealish and Sancho (insane salary demands as well).

Besides Chiesa, Amine Adli, Ferran Torres, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, and Amine Gouiri are the main other LW options left, as the only truly big names for right footers (and this time I will include some who play more at AMF as well, but can play LW) still on the table are all so expensive and/or have huge salary demands:

Florian Wirtz
Jamal Musiala
Rafael Leão
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
Xavi Simons
Luis Díaz  (wouldn't come here anyway)
Nico Williams
Dani Olmo
Anthony Gordon
Eberechi Eze (probably the least 'wingery' on this list)

He looks so, so poor that Omorodion bloke.

True - Looks like a lot of work

Frustrating that we spent all those years with Havertz who was a technically good forward and threw it away to sign a youngster in Jackson and now signing someone even younger in Samu.

Matt Law reporting we are in pole for Omordrion and could also sign Osimhen

Makes no sense. Would suggest Guiu would have to go out on loan, I take it? Otherwise we go from having not enough strikers to too many.

Why not just forget Omorodion, keep Guiu here with the first team to learn and get valuable minutes here and there, and get Osimhen as our main man…

Whilst italian clubs like to shop at Harrods on a poundland budget and somehow get what they want...

We live in the weird aisle at Lidl on a Harrods budget, stockpiling on shit we don't need whilst the baby goes hungry.

That would be sensible.

Brief just went out. Yep, Omorodion is definitely on the way if City agree to sell Alvarez to Atleti.

Orstein now also echoing Matt Law about Osimhen still being possible even if we sign Omorodion. How that’s going to work, idk. There’s talk of Nico Jackson being deployed as a LW? 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Omorodion is a little bit expensive and Guiu is the cheapest one. But we also bought for solid money Washington and Fofana. All 4 for me are in the same category. All are bet for the future. So if all this happens Osimhen first striker. It's up to Maresca to decide second and third but probably gonna be Omorodion and Guiu who can still go on loan. Jackson yes, could play LW. For Conference league we need 2nd team.

For CB also. So many players already here but it didn't stop us from buying Argentinian guy. And maybe one more. Same for RW. We are just stockpiling talent. They don't care about numbers.

We will have to care about numbers. We can't motivate and keep 30 + players in the squad. City usually keep under 25 players and play the same core over and over. Same with the successful teams elsewhere - like Madrid.

Many will go on loan. There is no restrictions for youth. And we just bought for 24m another Brazilian AM. Do we need for that position another player? No. If 1 in 5 turns out good our recruiting team is happy.
