CL can go either way but expect them to overcome Liverpool's 'success' under Klopp in PL. Under Klopp Pool have one title and two second places. Arsenal under Arteta is already two times runner up. Title is missing but they are there and will take it eventually. They are really exciting club right now and not popular thing to say here but if you are neutral they are cutest thing in the world football now. Arsenal transfer targets this summer is Calafiori, Fabian Ruiz, Mikel Merino, Gyokeres. They’re a serious team and much better than Chelsea in all departments right now. Second place is the first loser and they didn’t come runners up with 97 points like Liverpool or make multiple champions league finals. They are rubbish and won’t win anything Norfolkblue1961

While I'll always question whether Chelsea really had to go this far backwards before going forward, I still hope all this long term investment really pays off in the form of real success for the club. Special Juan 28,765
Ornsteing has reported we are in talks with Napoli for Lukaku going to Napoli with Osimhen coming the other way on loan plus buy option Strike and Reddish-Blue
Pizy 19,280
Loan with buy option for Osimhen? If he actually agrees to that then it would be incredibly smart business from the club. As for Gallagher, I’m a bit surprised the fee is so low but he had to go. And it’s fantastic that he’s going abroad so we don’t have to hear about him nonstop ever time he plays well. The Mason Mount comparison is spot in in that Conor is a very solid player who you love having in your squad as an option but he’s a limited footballer. Be sad to see him walk because he loves the club but it had to happen.
Magic Lamps 11,692
I understand how selling Conor makes sense for all parties but 34m is an absolute joke. Vintage piece of clownlake business. They are driving this club head first into the abyss trying to look smart. bigbluewillie
Special Juan 28,765
So Gallagher, Trev, Broja to name a few, that should pull in around 90M ish

Atleti or anyone else outside of the PL was going to pay £50m for Gallagher. And the PL options quickly dried up with Spuds and Villa already buying midfielders. Only £30m is bad but with a year left on his deal and to get him away from a rival domestic club is probably the best we could hope for.

These are all good things…🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ Enzo and Caicedo will be great for us in the long term starting this season, imo. Osimhen on a Netflix 1 year trial is smart. £30-35m for Gallagher who has a year left on his deal and wasn’t in the manager’s plans is perfectly fine. mkh 760
🚨 Napoli do not like the loan option for Victor Osimhen. As a baseline, they will work with £58 million plus Romelu Lukaku. (@DiMarzio) Reddish-Blue

No one wants Broja, will probably go for another loan on deadline day and Trev will be like 25 million tops (especially as the club froze him out of US tour).
