That’s just good business from an asymmetric risk perspective. You get someone who banged in more goals than Osimhen over the last 4 years, doesn’t get injured and is younger. Not to mention I’ve found the French league translates better to EPL than Italian recently.

Chelsea have no intention to do something “crazy” for players. It has to be right this summer. They believe for example Nico Williams wage could cause an internal problem. (@FabrizioRomano)

Get them both if you can complete it for €25m-$37m that way you get players that can play as the 9 as well in come on in the wing positions to change the game tactically

Keeping one of those you listed would change things, but that's a decision the club is yet to make.
Nkunku hasn't started 2 matches in a row... for a whole season! and based on his recent hinjury history, rather wait and see here.
