Palmer is clearly a no 10. A born playmaker. He does not have the pace and trickery to be a winger at all but his main strength is his cool head, vision and play making ability .

Agree on your assessment about his strengths but same can be said about Mata, David Silva, B.Silva and all played on the side. I think Palmer is solid dribbler as well and have some trickery in him.

What is the obsession with Brighton?

If Brighton were in London., I'm guessing Todd & Co. would've just bought Brighton.

But it isn't. So turning Chelsea into Brighton is their next best alternative, I guess? Who knows.

Basically, have a squad chock full of talented youth, low wages, and increasing the resale value of the club.

PSG want Osimhen.

That is us out.

If he's smart, he'll reject them. He's already done his bit in Ligue 1, and he expressed his desire to play in the PL.

If our board is willing to meet Napoli's valuation, I can only see him joining us.

yeah Idk if he worth so much money, tbh

I prefer stay with lukaku one season and buy another center forward next season

No no no Get the best available option in. We did the waiting already last few seasons. There’s nothing to be gained by waiting. Since we are spending recklessly on teenagers and in other positions, what’s another 40m on Jonathan David or Ivan Toney or whoever we can grab ?

And the fact that Drogba seems to be in his ear. The news that PSG is going for him doesn’t mean we are out of the race.

So from Osimhen (which was lie that we were interested because it does not fit into our policy of salaries threshold up to 150k) to another mid player like Toney .  But the yankies need to get rid of Gallagher , Maatsen , Broja , Chalobah to get money cuz they don't have any for speending in the summer  . And another director from mid club Brighton what is that obssesion with them this is our benchmark Brighton ? Get Out .

Mbappe leaving on a free next summer...

Could he still make his way here??

Paris Saint-Germain

  • Kylian Mbappé has now informed PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi that he will LEAVE the club as a free agent. The terms of the departure are yet to be fully agreed but he will leave PSG in the summer. The decision is 100% confirmed. PSG and Mbappe will communicate together about Kylian’s exit in the upcoming months. Real Madrid keep working on the Mbappé deal with total confidence to get it done.

  • Real Madrid’s fixed salary proposal for Kylian Mbappé is way lower than the one made in summer 2022 — and also lower than his current salary. Real want Mbappé to join the club at their conditions after spending years on this saga. Contract proposal, already in Kylian’s hands.
  • The relationship between Mbappé and Florentino Pérez is very good because of a specific detail. On May 21, 2022, Mbappé insisted with his camp to call the Real president personally to inform him about his decision to reject their bid and stay at PSG - Pérez appreciated that.

  • PSG advisor Luis Campos is currently not planning to leave Paris Saint-Germain despite Kylian Mbappé’s exit in June. Campos wants to stay and continue his project at PSG with the Champions League as their main goal.

I can only see Mbappe ending up at 2 clubs (that are actually serious about winning trophies and competing) - 1. Real Madrid, 2. Liverpool (you just know they've got Alonso lined up as the next great manager)

Liverpool lose a lot of their aura without Klopp. I think its now clear he's signing for Madrid
