Too early????

The bloke turns 26 this autumn 🍂

Does he think he should wait until he is 28 or 29 and has one full or only a partial sub 30yo seaon left???

Fucking idiot.

From the quotes he meant that he signed for Chelsea too early in the season. They are no longer in Europe or as attractive a proposition as when he signed the deal.

So given our happy mandem is reaching, like, 50, I think we will either be ripped financially, as the clubs will be aware we are desperate to sell, or, I hope, have the satellite club thing, or better, two clubs, lined up so we can divide our team into practically three not bad teams.

Another “transfer guru” - maybe being pessimistic but we also took the guy from Brighton for Potter, appointed whoever from Leipzig/Salzburg… are they all going to work together or is it going to be all change again? Too many guys in too many similar jobs ….

ffs, with all these world class footballing brains Boehly has hired, surely we turn this boat around

the only 2 we missed (and argualbly, unfortunately the biggest) out on so far were Christoph Freund from RB Salzburg or Michael Edwards from Pool, as the top of the pryamid sole Sporting Director

but we have nailed almsot every other one we have went after

my top 5 sporting directors (some in no way available) back when Boehly bought us were (and still are)

in no order

Txiki Begiristain (Barca and now Citeh)

Guiseppe Marotta (Sampdoria, Juve, and now Inter)

Christoph Freund

Michael Edwards

Luis Campos (Monaco, Lille, and now PSG)

Mitchell is the real deal, so many great signings at his clubs over the years

It has been one season... that started like shit and was turbulent on all fronts.

People wanted us to turn the ship around overnight. In reality, you put all the pieces in place and give it time. We've attracted some of the top talent in terms of players. There is a reason they are being lured here, and they are being guided by people who know what they're talking about as well. Give it time.

I like how they randomly dropped maatsen in there as if he would ever play for us

still we have crazy talent for years but that is not the issue. There is no cohesion in our squad because it is bloated and lacks leaders .

What you guys think West Ham will demand for Declan Rice keep in mind he has 12 months left on his contract this summer? Could see Poch wanting him, he fits that presence that he had at Spurs Wanayama/Dier.

40m plus gallagher

West Ham have an option to extend Rice's deal for another year so if he's going to move this summer the contract situation probably won't affect the sale price, especially with multiple clubs interested.

Wherever he ends up at I would think it's going to be for £70-80M.
