We need to fill HG spots which can be a problem and it's always smart to have English 3rd keeper because there is no damage. All best PL clubs are doing it. And experienced one who doesn't care if he plays has much more sense than some young GK who it's better to be on loan and play. Looked capable and busy, staying involved in the game and communicating with the defenders constantly. It looks like he gladly accepts the 'senior pro' role with the young lads around him.
