I taught myself to use my left foot in the school playground simply by deciding that I wasn't going to use my right at all. From memory it only took about a week. I think I was probably eight when I did this and I'm sure that I learned so quickly, and so well, because of the age at which I did this. From then until the end of my playing days, anything I could do with my right foot I could also do with my left. Except for dribbling. I did very similar, decided from a fairly young age that I wanted to be comfortable with both feet and taught myself at home literally kicking a ball against a wall. It wasn't something that was encouraged or coached into me which I've always found baffling. Probably the only thing I could never quite get was that my left foot was always that little more stronger for brute force or power if say, shooting from distance, but everything else I was just as comfortable on my right foot. My boy is 8 years old and just really getting into football in the last 6-12 months and due to join a local team when they start back up later this month. However he is coached by them is their prerogative but when he's at the park or in the garden kicking a football around with me he's made to use both feet, and he's been made fully aware the quicker he becomes comfortable using both feet, he'll be a significantly better and more useful player as a result. Marvin123 534
I am also told that James Garner from Manchester United is a player that the club like & we scouted him heavily last season. - @siphillipssport https://t.co/Xuq57rXk7l

Blues Forever 1,232
Wolves is preparing a new offer for Matheus Nunes. A meeting is expected in England this week. Sporting doesn't want to sell for less than €45m.
DDA 9,938
So now we know that Frenkie De Jong is pretty much out of the question, will this Chukwuemeka fella get a chance at all?
Gundalf 806
With the Gordon bid, it seems that we can't really get Fofana, so Reece will probably be RCB most of the times, with Gordon and RLC as RWB? Also: saying we don't really need De Jong bc of our packed midfield turned out to be wrong after only 2 games. Our midfield is injury prone af, so a midfielder should be a priority imo, also considering that Kante and Jorhingo would probably leave next summer. If I could choose between Fofana or De Jong, I would take De Jong 100%. De Jong, or another midfielder, should be priority #2 (after striker^^)

Nothing is suggesting the Fofana pursuit is being abandoned. Lots of credible sources (Fabrizio Romano, Ben Jacobs) have just today said the club are expected to go back in with an improved bid this week. bigbluewillie

If I'm not mistaken he's mostly played as a LW for Everton. Sometimes RW and even a few matches up front as a nine. Never as a wing-back though. He will be our 5th choice forward i think behind sterling, Kai, mount, broja. As well as being a decent option for a rwb back up. If the numbers of 25m + add ons are right, not a poor deal. He will be far better as a back up than ziyech or Puli.

Jype 6,398
Offers for Aubameyang, Fofana and Casadei to be made this week according to Matt Law. Club also thinking about whether to make another offer for Gordon or if it's getting too expensive.
Pizy 18,907
Why spend money on this Italian kid when we’ve already bought a young super talent for midfield for £20m? Why not use that money towards a ready made, top class midfielder like De Jong who can help us NOW? Boycie and manpe 1
Fernando 6,585
Richarlison made difference for Spurs. One of the reason I thought we wanted him is his aggression and that is good for a pressing team. I wonder if that is why we want Gordon?
