Thought he had two years his contract was up in 2021? In this situation though, transfer window closes in Couple of weeks. He would be free to negotiate with a new club in January. Of course he had to play conservative after that. At no time did Rodgers feel he needed to pull him in fear of a second and going a man down. I am still looking forward to him wearing our badge.
