I feel Cucurella can challenge Chilwell not sure about KWP with Reece albeit Reece is WC so its going to be hard. So if we're signing a backup then spend backup type money, if we're signing competition then we're going to have to spend more, we need to avoid spending "competition" type money on a backup. Provided the Cucurella, Fofana/Gvardiol and De Jong deals go through, that would make 4 really expensive signings over 50 million euros in one window... Sign of massive intent. Loving the ambition shown, even if not all go through there are reliable signs that we are at least aiming high.
