Matt Law suggested 4 players:

1. Lewandowski - Pointed out that Lewandowski remains "open minded" over his future but said it's more likely at this stage he remains at Bayern

2. Aubameyang - Tuchel still close to the player and there are already murmurings that Arsenal would listen to offers for him but he's currently earning £350k wages per week

3. Ings - Is English and will help with the HG quota, has proven PL pedigree but his injury record may put off the club

4. Sancho - Offers Tuchel different type of goal threat but Tuchel already has Werner, Havertz, Mount, Pulisic, Ziyech and CHO competing for places on the flanks

Get Sancho before it's to fucking late, he is a proven goalscorer and has bangs of creativity, can play on either wings, the whole attack will benefit from him.

Unlike in the case of Haaland, Dortmund are open to offers for Sancho, who has long been a target of Manchester United and who Chelsea have considered in the past. Tuchel wants a right-sided player, but had targeted somebody who could play at wing-back and fill in on the wing, hence his interest in Wolverhampton Wanderers star Adama Traore.

Imagine missing on Sancho because you want a clown to fill in for RW and wing back. We might as well go for Hakimi in that case, what a pointless signing Traore would be.

Lukaku off the market - Haaland off the market - Kane, Lewandowski unlikely. Fucks us over in our striker search really with no elite options.

Of course I'd love us to get a world class striker, but a striker doesn't have to be world class to put away a good percentage of the chances we missed over this last season. Some of which were comically bad.

An Andy Cole or Ian Wright level striker would improve us significantly and neither of them of those were world class. Just good strikers with good movement in the box and could put the ball in the net on a regular basis

Also, as good as he's been, there's still plenty of room for improvement in Mount's consistency with his shooting and decision making around the box. Pulisic too, is getting into good positions and just missing out on getting onto the end of  balls in the box and just putting shots wide etc. We could easily get at least another dozen or so goals and assists from those two, with the ability they have.

Then we're also looking for significant improvement from Werner, CHO and Kai kicking on.

There's also massive room for improvement with the shooting from distance from all our strikers and midfielders.

Get these lads playing to their potential, plus a good striker and creative midfielder and we might be going place in the league.

You want Reece James to be dropped? Because that's what's going to happen if the club sign Hakimi.

While we're at it, how about binning Mount and going for someone like Dybala?

Reece will be moved as RCB obviously.

But he's much better at RWB and definitely good enough to continue being a starter there. Azpi had a great time at RCB under Tuchel too and isn't any signs of decline so why change something that works just for the sake of signing the flavor of the month player? Sure Azpi isn't getting any younger but for next season he'd still play RCB a lot and James would have limited game time rotating with Azpi at RCB and being back-up for Hakimi at RWB.

Don't get me wrong, I rate Hakimi highly but he's just not something the club needs at the moment.

I didn't come up with this but the telegrapf article saying Reece might be moved at RCB letting someone else who can attack more occupy the wing back and create more havoc in our attack, that said if that guy is Traore I'd rather we just stick with what we have, Hakimi is an upgrade at least on James, Traore not so much and for a so called back up I'd rather stick with CHO there.

Chelsea are set to open negotiations with Armando Broja over a new contract, with head coach Thomas Tuchel considering including the teenage forward in his Premier League squad next season. (Sky) #CFC

Hope it's true, reminds me of when we had Chalobah who could play as depth and wasted money on Drinkfather, might save money and go for Sancho.

Traore is like a steam train when he gets going but there's next to no end product in his play. Most definitely not the level of player we should be signing.

We do need much more of a cutting edge from  the right side that we currently have though.

Are we really going to persist with Alonso another season?

Seems so if Tuchel want to continue the back three next season. Ideally we should sell Alonso but given most of our transfer budget will go to Striker and DM...........

Alonso is still a useful squad player for us in certain games, so I don't see why we should sell him. Also offers something a bit different from Chilwell,  which again, is something useful to have.

Also not going to get a top class RB who's happy to be a number 2.  Same with the keeper situation.

I disagree. His pace and the way he mosies on the ball I find incredibly tedious. Destroys our left side as there were so many moments this season under Tuchel where Alonso played I thought to myself, "we could really get at this left side if Chilwell was playing".

I would genuinely rather play CHO at LWB than Alonso.

Chilwell had a fine game in the CL final, but he also had a bad run of form during the season and fans were happy enough to see Alonso step in. James has also had a lot of underwhelming performances this season too, so it's a bit unfair to single out Alonso.

Alonso was as slow as coach when we won the title under Conte, but he made a good contribution to the team that season. He's probably not at that level these days, but I wouldn't say he's fallen too far below it.

There are other areas in the team which are much more in need of an upgrade than the Left side of defence, so it's wiser to spend the money there.
