But I also wonder whether just getting one for the sake of it, who won’t necessarily do the job we need them to, could be worse than sticking with what we’ve got. We're Chelsea after all I get what you're saying and to an extent it is right, but we have just had a ban lifted, already top 4 was going to be a big ask, albeit right now it's looking OK. It's the 27th January, we have 27 days to solve a problem or two, injuries are starting, we have no idea how Tammy is to the full extent and zero back up plan as it stands. Batshuayi cannot be trusted, surely to god and all this pussy footing around IMO will cost us top 4. I'm fully aware the rest of the teams aren't ripping it up right now but solely focused on us we need to be getting something done to say at least we tried to secure 4th/challenge on as many fronts. It's like getting done for drunk driving you're counting down the days till the bans lifted and when it is you don't bother driving anymore. Getting it overturned for ultimately no reason was always going to be a much better scenario than letting the ban carry on and all of a sudden a top player who would have been willing to come here but is not willing to wait for us. For example, at the point the ban was overturned it was looking reasonably possible Sancho was going to be available this January.
