I think he has a lot more potential, but he is not proven to be a player that comes back from injury fast so far. The most number of games he missed at Dortmund was 3. And furthermore, players at Dortmund tend to get injured anyway. There's always someone injured every week. When people were talking about him being benched for Sancho it wasn't because he was healthy and ready to go, he was having setbacks with getting 100% healthy. Every club knows players preference destination due to inside information. For example Werner in the Germany dressing room speaks with teammates (Rudiger) or even in the club (Ampadu). If James Rodriguez doesn't want to play in the PL I'm sure all top clubs are aware of it so they don't bother with negotiations with other clubs.
