Todd Boehly is set to be removed as Chelsea chairman in 2027, according to reports.

The American billionaire has been largely unpopular in the role since BlueCo took control from Roman Abramovich in May 2022.

Chelsea fans launched a campaign against their owners last week, depicting Boehly as a clown on mass-produced stickers with the words: ‘Get them out.’

Nah. Just means they think they are conning us by clearing the decks, the reality they are just removing a figurehead, and announcing it now they think will deflect any protests. Mugs

The senseless bashing of this man has to stop, collective decisions have put us here not just one guy going kamikaze. Let's also be objective and note that the previous regime will have ALOT of skeletons coming out the closet which Clearlake will have to clean up, as well as their own mess.

Under Abramovich we sacking managers after 5 poor games , today the fans are ok in second season to be mid table absolutely shocking . Our standarts are drop off by these clowns destroying everything was build in last 20 years for 18 months.

Let's be real this club is mess in structure level on the pitch the whole squad is rely on Palmer without him we probably be in relegation battle . Even with his stats and  XG we are mid table .  Thiago Silva  is still exile  by these clowns and Bottlechino is fine with that his most expirienced player to be out . Get out all clowns  out of the club .

Roman for all his faults and rash firings did seem to care about the club and board and co..it was the little touches they did. Such as the cheap travel and the flags and that on certain days. Don't know if still do that fair play if so. But little bits like that. And looked invested!

It'd been intresting to see how this lot would've reacted and done had they been here with the Superleague drama. Chelsea gained a lot of respect for being the first to say sod this and announce they were going to pull out...

Exactly, we were competitive for most of Roman's reign.   Under the current ownership, it seems more like someone is playing Football Manager in real life and hoping that all these 'talents' come good.

They using AI scouting so that's tell  you everything you need to know about these wrongers how they run this football club . You don't need AI to see which player will be superstar or good player . FC AI , Data , XG Mercants . Even the manager  said that the data analyzes tell them that we should be in the top 4. Classic .

I think there is a remote but far from impossible chance that we are destroyed as a top tier (perhaps not even a topflight one) club for ages.

Hedge funds and private equity firms (aka our owners) often strip, chop, and sell for scrap non performing assets.

I would say that is not so much of a remote chance but almost a certainty. Just given the incompetence of everyone in charge atm there is 0 chance of us competing for big titles ever again under this ownership. I have been saying this for months and it is time fans get adjusted to this reality that Chelsea is now a mid table club no matter how much we hate. No managerial change, tactical or personnel switch in defense or anything else that can be done instantly or within a transfer window will fix this. The whole club hierarchy and structure underneath is rotten.

however, I don’t think we will be relegated any time soon simply bc the club is still generating above PL average revenue to maintain this current structure. With a few big sales of homegrown players even the massive debt loaded onto us by clownlake’s brainless transfer strategy etc can be managed.

if we look soberly at this young squad, yes most are overpriced hyped up pedestrian kids but they are reasonably talented, roughly on a PL average level . Surely there will be three worse teams every season.

I would disagree, I feel a better manager would implement a more suitable system for the current group of players.   Not saying that we would suddenly be competing for top 6 overnight but we should be 6-8 points better off than where we are at the moment.

Maybe if we had 1-2 more experienced players in midfield, they would have steadied the ship and helped us maintain leads rather than going ahead and then watching our team go into panic mode and the opposition getting given easy goals.
