I always knew that due to the covid and Leverkusen not making it to the Champs League, that we couldn't possibly pay 100million for Havertz. Leverkusen are the ones who need the money, paying above 100mil is a terrible negotiation move.

Only Clubs with huge finances/Stature will force you to pay through your nose. Not the likes of Leverkusen. Good one from Marina.

And am also curious, how often do clubs announce signings on weekends? Surely others do it, right? Would find it strange if everything is reserved only for weekdays.
