killer1257 3,282
Why signing chilwell affects the transfer of havertz to us ? we sell Emerson for 25m£ to inter and you only extra 25m£ for chilwell.where is the problem?Chilwell costs around 70 million Euros. DANILA 290
Horrible signing for the price. Will be a Mcguire signing. Would be fine with it if it was 30-40m. Hopefully he's just packing his bags for a vacation shrenshah and Vesper

Chilwell will fit in like a glove with all the englishmen around him What makes you think Reguilon is no EPL ready? From what I have seen he has very similar physical characteristics as Chilwell. killer1257
Alabama 1,992
I would rather play Kepa as a left back than sign this lad for any fee above 55m.... lucio and killer1257

Chilwell ain't that bad. It's just the price tag.. If we get him for 50 or under I'm absolutely fine with Chilwell. Although I still would have prefered a cheaper option but if Frank wants him then I trust Frank. ulsterchelsea and mkh

Ryan Fong 2,776
Don’t quite understand the overreactions, to me I’m not even bothered about the price. Just leave it to Frank and Granny, I’m pretty sure they are not stupid enough to jeopardize other needed signings, after all they are paid buckets of money to do this and I’m fully confident they will do it properly. ulsterchelsea, oldportblue and DDA

I hear you, but I also hear the voice in my head saying someone was paid buckets of money to bring in Drinkwater. Totally NOT comparing DD to Chilwell. Rekin 835
Can we try to remember that Chilwell is a decent player that has not peaked yet? I strongly suspect that Chelsea knows what they are trying to accomplish, and if they are prioritizing Chilwell over other signings (not counting Havertz as I am confident it will happen) then they do so because they strongly believe in the player's quality. Let's keep in mind that we live in a world where Maguire and Rice are valued at 80m. ulsterchelsea and oldportblue

I’m just saying it’s quite unlikely signing him will jeopardize other planned signings this summer that’s all.
Magic Lamps 11,692
I am not really hearing or reading anything concrete so I doubt we get such abreakthrough overnight in a potential 80m deal killer1257 and Dimitr
Pulisicismydaddy 91
For the money quoted I'd rather buy one of Davies legs and attach it to Alonso than getting Ben. killer1257 and shrenshah
Fernando 6,585
I still take him. I think we get him for 50 million and with add ons to take it higher. Dimitr and oldportblue
blu35_army 551
is he already part of Leicester side when they won the PL? if so,,then "the mentality" that make him more luxury tag now. just like maguire case...

I think he was part of the squad but didn't really play at that point. Maguire wasn't at Leicester then either.
