It is all good that she detests trump, but her type of Democrat (Biden is pretty close) is a neoliberal war hawk.

American politics is so depressing, as there is no truly effective left there. Even Sanders and now and (this really pisses me off, as she has caved in after less than TWO years!) AOC are sheepdogs. They get into the system and want to protect their committee seats, so they never truly attack the corporatists like Pelosi and Schumer, etc etc, who run the show. It is so bad on the big US Democratic chat boards that the bigg posters there swarm and bully people who were against the two worst dems in Congress (and both are in safe Blue seats) Dan Lipinski (he finally went down to a challenger) and the even worse Henry Cuellar (who won, unfortunately) Cuellar is anti-choice, he is A- rated by the NRA (he is huge gun humper) rabid homophobe, gets more private prison and big oil money that any other Dem in the house, is anti-immigrant and even campaigned for and raised money for a REPUBLICAN, a racist climate change denier named John Carter. yet the neoliberal who run the board love him because he is pro bank and most of them are deep down big fans of big oil and private prisons.

Like I said, the US political state is shambolic. That board LOVES the Dem Libs in the UK (they hate Corbyn and whinge on about what a godlike figure Blair was, gag).Most do not understand how the UK works, so I have had crazy arguments when I showed how the fucking Lib Dems propped up Cameron and the Tories for ages. Some even, after seeing what happened, STILL say the Lib Dems were right, because they agree with austerity schemes (as long as it does not touch their pet US programmes (that benefit only olds, Social Security and Medicaid), as most of them are boomers and older, and are CLASSIC 'I got mine so FUCK YOU' greedy old ex hippies. Actually I doubt some of them were even real hippies, they just lie and claim it. But its just daft. No doubt players/clubs are taking pay cuts and doing their part. They shouldn't have to prove it to the world though. Celebs are also rich rich rich but they dont get ranted about.
