cosmicway 1,333
It looked like a 5-0 this one, from the first minute. We either have become super fast or the Evertonians are slow movers. Which of the two ? Johnnyeye
ZAPHOD2319 4,819
Everton kept their defense shape exceptionally because they wouldn't take two steps to challenge for the ball.
Superblue 6,372
Typical that we finally start finding some home form, and our next home game now is over a month away.

OneMoSalah 8,886
I said it last game v Liverpool and I will say it again. Billy Gilmour. That is all. Goodnight/morning. kellzfresh and Johnnyeye
communicate 2,703
IMO the most important part of that performance was how comfortable we looked defensively. I didn't feel like that we will concede everytime our opp attack us. Everton created only two notable chances whole game. Dcl one on one and walcot cut back. Fulham Broadway 17,317
Tremendous day yesterday - blue scousers aren't as bad as red ones, and chatting to a few of them it seems their trains were totally fucked to add to their misery. I notice the media today is all Yernited, Yernited, with our magnificent performance an afterthought. So obvious they want United to pip us. bigbluewillie, Laylabelle and Johnnyeye
Popular Post! bigbluewillie 1,930 Posted March 9, 2020 Popular Post! Share Posted March 9, 2020 Also whilst talking about Billy, I just can't enthuse any more about the young lad's passing ability always forward, just the right amount pace on the ball, and there's his vision of the game. If as we hope he continues his progression how good can he get, he's only only eighteen and plays like a seasoned pro already. kellzfresh, Fulham Broadway, Johnnyeye and 2 others

Suddenly, we are not suck at set pieces. We can defend other team wing threat and we have a DM who can deliver ball between the line. bigbluewillie and kellzfresh

I wouldn't say we looked that comfortable defensively, especially Zouma. There were at least three times he got caught out high up the pitch in no mans land. The first time he did this Rudi also did not cover him properly and Calvert Lewin should really have scored. That would've made it 2-1. The real difference in this game is that midfield actually had a pair of balls and didn't allow Everton to bully/overrun us. bigbluewillie
Special Juan 28,141
The passing was sharp, the control was first class, the decision making was spot on and the energy and desire was there from the start. bigbluewillie
