I have not felt more doom before a yids match in my life, TBH. :(

I am terrified tHat if we drop out of the top 4, we never get back, and the knock-on effects from that will be horrendous for the summer window.

My sentiments exactly.

I'm fucking dreading this match.

I just cannot see any positives:(

Dont tortour yourself man, most of us expect a defeat somehow. This match will show us alot, its stinking spurs, manages by JM, if Lamps cant fire a storm under their belly, if the players aint running like demons then the mentality and motivation do not exist. And I sure as hell expect spurs to be allowed to kick the shit out of us.

I dont buy that for 1 sec......if we are this tired already then may God help us later on.

Tbh most of the players didnt have a full season in PL yet.

And those who have like Willian are just not the players you can count on.

Thats why we were doing well because younger players were pushing us forward and now the fatigue caught them. Specialy Mount has played way too many games in autmn.

I think people have learned from our "big game" record thus far.

This game will go one of two ways - hard fought draw or a pasting.

If we're going to play it that way, Jose's lost all his big games as Spurs managers dus far himself.

This current lot hasn't shown anything or enough that they can tough out a win...yet. We can play well but unfortunately, we are a bit too flimsy defensively to have that confidence we can dig out wins like past teams in games like these.

The same was said last season before Baku.

That and apparently Emery's Europa record was going to overwhelm us.

Did people really doubt us against Arsenal? IIRC we had sort of stringed a good run together before? Maybe not seems like a life time ago and it was only last season 😂

You do realize this team has changed a bit since then, right? New players, younger players, new manager etc.

And besides, we at least had form that we could do what you said when that Europa League final came around - Man City at home, City in the League Cup final etc.

This season, no such form shown.

Point is every time we go into a big game on not so great form the pre match thread is inundated with comments about how we're supposedly getting hammered, even in 13/14 when we didn't lose a single big league game the days leading up to them were full off doomsday theories.
