no, not yet but if he does what I said (or worse) then yes

he should go

IF he loses the next 4, doesn't get sacked, we could be looking at 13 out of 14 league losses, and at best 11 losses out of 14, with the only 2 new wins versus Burnley and Newcastle (following what conditions I laid out)

I was very specific in what I said

what it would take to earn him the sack

I would only turn if we have a sustainable hit of performances like today.

Other than that I think we have to rid these punches.

interim manager
if he doesn't hit those benchmarks
he needs to go
especially if he loses the next 4
we will fuck about and not even get EL
you do realise that if he loses the next 4
he will have lost to West Ham (at home), barely beaten a dregs Villa team (at home), lost to relegation-zone Everton, lost to  Bournemouth (with half of their best players not playing) (at home), SOTON, and Brighton (at home)
we have kept 4 clean sheets out of 26 games (5 out of 32 if you count preseason, and that extra one was against a pub side (St Patricks)
Brighton, Newcastle, and Palace are our league clean sheets, Ajax  the other
we have won ONE game (that Ajax game) against good teams this year outside the EPL and one win (Wolves) against a decent league team (and wolves will likely be 7th or worse, unless we too crash out of the top 7 (which so can happen)
we have given up more goals though 17 games than any EPL Chels side in history
and now we cant score against dregs (last 3 EPL games a total of ONE GOAL from all 3, against West Ham, relegation-zone Everton, and Bournemouth)
so yes
if he loses the next 4
it is the sack
take away that Ajax game (that is the game so much of hsi false dawn is based upon) and the Wolves win
and he has done FUCKALL in terms of winning results against decent sides
and has had multiple horrific loses or draws at home (as well as away)
we have ZERO points in the league all season from a losing position

So you expected from Lamps that he makes Top 4 at the beginning of the Season? Even though he does not have prime Hazard in our team ? You know that we would not have made Top 4 last Season without Hazard and the bad form of Spurs and Arsenal at the end of the Season right ?

People need to see the bigger picture and think long term. We had so many Short term Managers and with huge Transfer Budgets and they all lost their jobs.
So do you really think that we would make Top 4 with Pep or with Klopp at the start of the Season ? Because I don't think that.
Klopp had the luck that Pool fans fell in Love with him and he had the backing of the Board with all the Transfers he needed.
Lamps is our biggest Legend with JT and he does not get the Time from the fans...
Look at what United have now gained with the Trust to Ole. They have Top class attack and it is getting better and better long term. United give him the Time and money to Build. Lamps did not have a Transfer period to begin with. Sarri got Jorgi... While Lamps lost Hazard and could Not sign new players, his opponents were buying new players.

With prime Hazard still with us, we would have won today. Hazard was a game changer for us.

Last Season we also had RLC who was a Beast. Lamps does not even have him.

I criticise Lamps for picking Azpi Mount Willian, but I know how hard Top 4 under these circumstances is and I highly Doubt that Pep would make Top 4 under those circumstances either.

I know most Chelsea fans don't care about long term success, but I do and I know what a difficult job Lamps has. Chelsea fans in this forum think he manages Barcelona

my post speaks for itself

we are not only losing against shit teams

we are failing in most metrics

play shit defence

now cannot score

and have one win in the league all year versus any sort of decent team

and that one Ajax fluke win

I am not saying top 4 is a must or even likely

but I also am not saying 8th or 9th (or dog forbid, worse) which is where we are heading if we do not unfuck ourselves, is remotely acceptable

If he loses every game from now till the end of the season, he should still REMAIN as the chelsea manager. He has shown a lot more positives than any of the fair weather fans on here expected in the summer.

Yes, we are currently struggling and looking poor, but thats what happens with a squad of 16/17 players with no quality depth.

We have incorporated youth, changed our whole identity, lost a top 5/10 player in the world without replacement and yet we are 4th in the league table with round of 16 in CL.

Calling for him to be sacked on the first signs of trouble is not just irritating and frustrating but shows exactly the kind of fans that are on here.

Conte unlike those two is a league specialist and most crucially wasn't up against two freak of nature sides.

And personally I wouldn't want a short term hit again, even if it was for a title, we've done the title then collapse three times now, I'd happily wait for a while if we have a more sustainable model to build on.

Conte is awesome imo, he might not have helped his case but we def did him no favours.

Ohh I think all of us would want a sustained squad and manager.......but it has to be the right manager, only time will tell.

Im not Lamps out at all, but his subs and line-ups are not good, lets he learns. At the same time not many of us would put money that we would get top4.....this really is a piss poor Chels side overall, like utd's and arsenal's.

The board should be ashamed it has come to this, lack of insight and forsight got us here, lack of planning got us here, wasting so much on utter dross got us here.

FL will get till the summer im sure, but boy we really need to buckle up.

Today's performance was rather similar to the second half against West Ham and the game at Everton.

Still better than being a fair weather plastic.

only plastic I see is you with the fake poutrage over someone else's clearly laid out opinion

you are the typical keyboard commando who has to slag anyone who dares to have an dissenting point of view

unlike you I never get on here and slag off people personally for some opinion they have about the club

Like I said I think long term and you seem to not think that way.

Uniteds Trust to Ole is paying off because their fans love him and the Board trusts him. Now he has a top class attack and his Defense looks better. You would have already sacked him.

I already mentioned Pools Trust and love for Klopp and they also think long term.

People here think that Lamps job is easy, but in all fairness to y'all, it is one hell of a job.The Chelsea job itself is hard, but these players, many injuries, no fucking Hazard and a Transfer ban, it is horrible.

there is a reason why Pep Never Wanted to come to us. He would have needed a whole new Squad.

I Trust in Lamps and I will give him two Transfer Windows, so he can implement his style. I hope our Board gives him some Good Signings.

Is the "joking" only to when we should not sack him. Cause the post i quoted wants him sacked by the new year. I mean seriously WTF.

Sacking him now will not end well.....it would be unfair. But letting him lose every match till may and still have him around as manager is in no shape or form a good idea. Roman will bring his war axe long before that in that case.

Second half against West Ham fair enough but Everton was lost due to dire finishing. We should have ended that game by half time.
