OneMoSalah 8,886
Will be a really tough game. They are a very very capable side, sitting 4th in Bundesliga right now and we all know they have decent options in Jovic, Rebic, Haller and Kostic who can cause us problems. Nvm Haller injured apparently. Still good team need to be up for it.
bigbluewillie 1,930
Got to admit I know absolutely nothing about Eintracht, so don't know how to assess the game. Just hope a don't care Chelsea turns up, and we can put in a performance, and like others say get that away goal.
Vybz Kartel 1,613
Come on we are Chelsea, we should beat Frankfurt, Rudiger or no Rudiger. We have beaten better teams this season, dont forget we beat Man City, Liverpool, Spurs (twice) we have the quality to over come them.
Vesper 30,193
For the hosts, Eintracht Frankfurt, forward Sebastien Haller is a doubt due to an abdominal issue. The side making its first European semifinal appearance since 1979-80 will also be without the services of forward Ante Rebic (suspended), midfielder Marc Stendera (back) and defender Taleb Tawatha (ankle). massive breaks for us, especially with no Rudiger

Share Posted April 30, 2019 Even the Bundesliga have taken mini cheap shots at Sarriball... https://www.bundesliga.com/en/bundesliga/news/5-reasons-eintracht-frankfurt-beat-chelsea-in-uefa-europa-league-luka-jovic-3886 4) 3-5-2 vs. 4-3-3 While Chelsea have a somewhat inflexible 4-3-3 system that has been dubbed 'Sarri-ball', Frankfurt have proven capable of adopting alternative approaches throughout the current campaign to probe for weakness. If they can win the battle of the midfield trios, Kostic and Danny Da Costa can stretch the play, while the pace of the front three is enough to cause the likes of David Luiz, Antonio Rüdiger and Jorginho problems. Frankfurt’s intensity levels have proven problematic for every opponent they’ve faced thus far - even Benfica struggled at times despite playing with an extra man for 70 minutes of the first leg - and the tie could hinge on Chelsea’s ability, or lack thereof, to match it. So we also have the ability to be bloody crap. Depends what side turns up.. Especially after half time

Magic Lamps 11,692
We really have no chance to win this in an open match. They are too intense, strong and disciplined. Also they have a coach who actually knows 1 or 2 things about how to set up a team and organizing a defence other than good old Sarri. All we can hope for is that they become reckless, Hazard has a good day and picks them apart like messi did to Pool today. I dont see it but a possibiligy. Frankfurt play a bit similar to liverpool and i can see them dominating the game from minute 1 but they are not always clinical so our chance is to counter attack them.
