manpe 10,861
What chance will Drogba have with Rafa at the helm? Torres is his pet boy. But he will be good for morale (except for one certain player) and an excellent option to have.

It's the kind of hatred you have towards your opponent's best player out of fear. Plus he was playing cheap mind games.
Rubber bullets 1,183
This is only been done to try and sweeten the fans now that Rafa is the manager. Also, when will the loan happen? Baring n mind he goes off in January for the ACON

Benitez would love Drogba in his squad. Whether he thinks he can get something out of Torres or not, he isn't stupid and knows we need an extra body upfront.Mourinho was very critical of Ronaldo when he was manager here and now has him at Madrid. There is always mutual respect at the highest level between players, managers, etc.

LDN Blue 7,903
It's bad enough taking 1 step forward and 2 back after today. If Drogba comes back it's 1 step forward, 7 years backwards.
ChelseaChelsea 37
I don't think he is coming here to play.
YouNameIt 1,511
We advance in the CL by some miracle, Drogba comes back on loan and we become the first club in the history to win the CL twice in a row, Drogba scores the winner in the finals. Haha. Nah but seriousley, this loan feels wrong, but anything that is good for the club I guess!Only problem is that if Drogba comes back on loan, what happens with Sturridge?! HRiver 1,512
Drogba's last ever kick in a Chelsea shirt should remain the decisive kick from the spot in Munich. I love him and would love to see him play for Chelsea again but I don't think he should come back. Kez and Stats

Danelka 209
Drogba and Benitez in the same team? Not even worth talking about.
Liquidator 5,176
Why are so many people against this? Why all this silly sentimentality about how his last kick was winning the champions league? Who cares it was most likely a coincidence. The fact of the matter is that we have 1 average striker and 1 piece of absolute shite up front and we need someone who can score goals. I don't see the down side tbh.
Stats 7,142
Despite his legendary status at us I am one of a few who thinks this will look so stupid on the club if he returns? I am not for it and shows that we are in a desperate situation to bring back a striker whose last kick at the club should be the penalty kick that won us the Champions League. Sorry Drog, but not up for this. Kojo and LDN Blue
