Higuain is a good striker but he's very limited. He scores goals yes, but he has the tendency to go missing in a lot of games. Why do you think there's always speculation about Real getting a new striker? Because the Higuain/Benzema duo isn't good enough for a club that's one of the best in the world (Granted, Benzema brings a lot more to the team and when he's on form he's brilliant - but Karim is too inconsistent).

I too would take Dzeko over Higuain simply because he brings a lot more to your team.

We can do a lot better than Higuain. Higuain isn't good enough to be the main striker at a club like CFC or Real in my opinion.

His showing was not only good but amazing. to score 4 goals in one game against one of the best sides in the world is not done very often. Also reasons for buyng Lewa is not one "good" game but 37 goals for club and country.

I'd actually have rather Higuain than Dzeko. More technical, faster and more skilful, fits us a bit better. Dzeko is very similar to Ba and Lukaku

I feel he's been mismanaged by Mourinho so I wouldn't feel confident having him here if Mou does return. I'd feel confident in him if we had AVB as manager as he likes deploying poachers and has always done that to great effect, but I believe we need someone more mobile under Mourinho.

It's no coincidence that most of his success has been when he's had a powerful striker like Drogba or lung-busting player like Eto'o. Enter Lukaku...?

Dzeko is like a poor man's Lewandowski. And also it will depend on exactly the type of striker we're looking for - in either case, Dzeko shouldn't be anywhere near top of the list - i'm not sure because some people seem to think we need a player similar to Drogba who can hold people off etc, but i personally want a poacher.

The amount of chances Mazacar create already and can create will only increase with someone not only making good runs, but also someone who's able to finish off chances. We've not had Drogba this season, but we have played great football in a lot of games but lack the top finisher we need.

Higuain is wildly inconsistent. However, when he's on his day, he can work wonders. Not sure if he'd do very well over here however. I'd take him, just as long as the price was low (around 15 mil).

It's easy to score goals in La Liga, anyone can do it.

He doesn't cut it for Real when it comes to firing them through to the Champs League final like Lewa did for Dortmund.

He had chances to put Madrid up and in such an important game he didn't cut it.

Trust me, if Real continue with Higuain as their main striker they won't win Champs League until they get rid of him and stop relying on Ronaldo.

He's been getting worse - stand out season: 2009/10 - 40 games, 29 goals

This season: 40 games, 19 goals (all competitions) - isn't that the same as Torrid?

Whereas Lewandoski - 43 games, 35 goals...

So definitely would consider Lewandoski over Higuain

Lol Dzeko? Have you seen him this season? He's been atrocious. There's a reason why City are looking to get rid of him.
