Pulisic is the 18th player to score a hat-trick in the Roman Abramovich era: Didier Drogba = 4 Frank Lampard = 4 Nicholas Anelka = 2 Eden Hazard = 2 Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink = 1 Eidur Gudjohnson = 1 Salomon Kalou = 1 Fernando Torres = 1 Samuel Eto'o = 1 Andre Schurrle = 1 Diego Costa = 1 Oscar = 1 Michy Batshuayi = 1 Alvaro Morata = 1 Ruben Loftus-Cheek = 1 Olivier Giroud = 1 Tammy Abraham = 1 Christian Pulisic = 1 I was surprised to see Kalou had scored a perfect hat-trick as well Did it in that 7-0 win over Stoke in 2010. Had 2 perfect PL hat-tricks in that 09/10 season! communicate and LAM09

OneMoSalah 8,886
How many games has he started for us? 7 or 8? And hes been involved in 9 goals? He is just finding ways of affecting matches from if he starts or comes off the bench and this sort of thing is only good for us. kellzfresh

He has never scored more than 4 goals in a league season. So, one would imagine him setting a new personal record this time. His goal today was brilliant by the way. Simple but brilliant. Anticipated the cross coming in (or at least gave the passer an option) and attacked it at the right position. So often we have seen the ball being delivered into the box and nobody attacks it in those kind of situations previously. Hope we see more of this going forward, be it from Pulisic or whoever else! Yeah it would be nice to see and going from Christian spending some time in the Bundesliga where the wide players coming in off the touchline, getting in the box is a very common thing then hopefully he will continue to do this. Thomas Muller (I know hes more of a 10 but even then he fits the bill) and Lukasz Podolski are probably two players who have done it regularly over the period of their careers that I can think of in recent times, making those runs across and getting taps in. Even Raheem Sterling is doing it now for City with Pep. Then obviously Ronaldo, Messi, Sanchez and Pedro all over the years too. This is what frustrated me about Eden at times when he was here, he wouldnt always be on the move to get across for low centres which would of got him plenty of tap ins. As a whole, it infuriates me watching any match or level of games, seeing crosses go in across the box from a winger or full back and the only person being in the box is the striker and maybe another midfielder. Whats the point in the other winger standing out on the touchline if hes not involved in the play? Get in the box... Jase

Pizy 18,913
His aggression and directness cause teams huge problems. Whilst attackers like Willian and CHO like standing up their defender first and trying to do a trick, Pulisic just receives the bal and charges forward. Puts tremendous pressure on a defense. And he actually looks even more dangerous when he plays narrow in the center of the pitch than he does out wide which I didn't expect heading into the season. Lots of growth to look forward to. 11Drogba, Bosnian Blue, kellzfresh and 1 other

Would like to see him take on players a bit more TBH, like drive at the defenders and go down the line etc. Maybe he's uncomfortable with doing that on the left or he's not too confident of winning the physical duel but yeah, guess that'll come as we go forward. killer1257 3,282
What impresses me about him is that Puli uses his speed in a very effective way, while CHO and Willian always make our counter attacks slower.
