Jorginho's agent provides update on midfielder's Chelsea future and potential transfer

Jorginho was linked with a move away from Chelsea in the summer transfer window but it appears he is going nowhere for the time being after his agent provided an update.

Firstly, Jorginho agent really likes to open his mouth, doesn't he? Secondly, his agent keeps on talking like Jorginho himself is widely wanted by the major clubs in Europe. 🙄

I am so depressed every time I see him on the pitch for us

it is like when Lampard was ramming Azpi in at LB

its capitulation

It is just crazy how many shit buys we have made since summer of 2017

IF Werner and Havertz actually shock me and totally go bust

plus Pulisic ends up being too injury-prone to do much with (plus, and this would just be the back-breaker, Ziyech goes the Pulisic route)

we have basically semi-destroyed the club soon (other than if the youth products come good in a huge way)

so many are rapidly ageing

and so many are unsaleable and their contracts soon run out, so might leave on frees

our dregs are TRULY dregs, as in NOBODY really wants them, or wants them for damn near free cost

I can say this with 100, no 1000000000% certainty

Lampard can NEVER survive a Werner/Havertz combined fail

zero chance

and Roman surely will pack it in if all but Chilwell (just speaking of the 6 thsi summer) are trash/perma injury/ and/or gone in 2 years (as Thiago is too old to count on beyond next season, Kante, who obviously we are going to keep until he is ready to go to MLS or Arabia in 2, 3 years max)

Roman would be insane to keep tossing in hundreds of millions IF we have over £400m or so in bust buys in last 3 or 4 years, plus Marina and the board of selling in timely fashion and losing another 300, £400m

we also will have no new stadium for well over a decade or more (if ever under Roman)

I am in a very dark place if I start thinking about the two Germans being busts

dog help us all if they are and if Puli is a perma glass doll

if that happens, thsi is not the type of shit we can buy our way out of

the team will not be in CL

and thus, combined with a tiny, obsolete stadium, and the loan army disappearing (the bigger ones, as their contracts run out), plus Brexit now blocking lower cost buys of high potential younger EU players

we will slide hard down for years

we really will become the new Arsenal we really are in an incredibly dangerous place if these buys do not work out

COVID-19 market is the final (or one of the final) nails in coffin

we are not going to get SHIT for all these giant name sales

when I can start to do a final tally on the lost revenue due to our failures at time sales, it is going to be jaw dropping, I think it will be closing in on 450m or so

just from the refused sales of Willian and Alonso its going to end up around £100m lost

and that is but two players

add in the total net loss when Kepa is sold off (counting a huge chunk of his salary as well), plus the Drinkwater complete shit away of £60m, and we are up to damn near £250m in net loss when the books are closed out

and that is now only for FOUR players

yes, Hazard and Costa and Morata were brilliant business, but all that £130m or so (which is the net profit between the 3) profit is just crushed by hundreds of millions in bollocksed up other buys and refused sales, the shit truly does start to add up, and add up exponentially

if most of the buys goes bust (from Pulisic onward) it might be us as a top 4 force-destroying as well

many miles to go before we get to that level of disaster, but the path to it can at least be seen

Agree with lots of your assessments but Kai and Timo cant become shit....the level of their talent is too much for that...although they might  not make it here but at the end of the day they will surely make it just hope its here....

I do not understand why so much hate for him.

Last 12 PL games:

Jorginho starts: 5 wins and 2 draws.

Jorginho does not start: 5 losses!

In the last couple of days Sherwood and Maddison praising him to heaven only our fanbase do not rate him... Pep wanted him... Plays great for Italy.

He did not cost us one single goal this season we mostly have 70% or more possession which is his main task... What else people want?

On Shed End people voted him for MOTM against Spurs but not single vote here.

Unfortunately he’s just someone who people don’t seem to see the value in having someone like him in the team despite his obvious quality at retaining possession and the fact Tuchel is heavy possession orientated. He will be a key cog under Tuchel I feel. No surprise hes recalled him and no surprise we played our best football in the last 2 seasons with him, Kovacic and Mount in the first 11.

how has he been MOTM 3 times when CHO was MOTM vs Wolves and Burnley whilst Werner was MOTM on Sunday. The Jorginho fanboys are hyping him up again when he is all but a stopgap

I don't know that he is a stop gap when Tuchel has been trying to get him at PSG. He might be here for years to come.

On the plus side bc he has the body and pace of a 14 y.o. anyway he will not really regress physically with age.

I get that he has a football brain and is of some value when distributing balls around a parked bus. But off the ball he is almost useless when opponents charge at him and on the ball he is only good at simple short passes. Can't deal with any kind of intensity. His long passing is decidedly average. No idea why anyone rates this kind of player this much when there have been decades where most elite midfielders could easily do what he does and some.

imo the only negative of tuchel's tenure so far is his love for jorgihno... to me he is a weak and slow player, his long balls are below average, he gets spun in midfield very often when teams attack us and he can't shoot, score or assist. The stat someone posted above that he has been motm 3 times in 4 games is pure fiction, he was dreadful a couple of times and him taking the pens covered up those poor performances in the player ratings...

I can easily see him being exposed by a team with quality going forward that actually wants to attack... that has not been the case for any of the 4 teams we've played under tuchel so far and even the little attacking sheffield did do, they ran around him like he was a cone in midfield... I hope I'm wrong about him in the long term as tuchel seems to love him but I don't love what I've seen from him in the 2+ years he's been at Chelsea so far
