From champions comfortably to a finish outside the top 4 the next season. Again.

This game was lost for a number of reasons. Hazard and Willian were dead on their feet after a brilliant first half from each of them. Kante and DD were solid in the first half but Matic singlehandedly dominated the entire midfield in the second half. And finall, and most infuriatingly, Morata was completely useless once more. He looks a completely different player than he did when he was scoring for fun. If an opponent is physical with him he wilts like a dying flower.

Thi is the worst I've felt about Chelsea in a while. A club like United can easily afford and deal with a season outside of the top 4 because they can buy themselves out of everything. It's going to be disastrous for us. Losing our best players and having to buy quality in a World Cup summer. We may actually pull a Liverpool and be on the outside looking in for a while. Depressing.

I'm really lost for words, you can't make this shit up. Conte doesn't know what he's doing. I'm bored of watching us play and he's underperforming with this squad. He can't even make top 4. Embarrassing.

Morata was definitely onside. and even if not, it was too close to call. but the ref would have given the decision to utd no matter if he was ten yards on or offside. This is because 1) refs are shit and unable to interpet the offside rule "when in doubt for the attacker" and 2) because it is at old trafford and bc it is Utd, no referee would ever give a close call agains utd this late in the game.

I think it is gonna happen and maybe that is just what we need. This generation is dead even though it is not old yet but it does not have the character or the durability of our former core. The squad and this club needs a major rebuild. Our prowess in the transfer window has obviously been crippled by incapable personnel and the prioritzation of the new stadium, so the rebuild will have to wait until that is over.

About the most frustrating game of football I've seen this season. We contrive to lose to a genuinely shite Man Utd team, because after half time we chose to literally do nothing and hope for a draw. Fucking hell.I love Conte but he got that one wrong in a big way.

If that is the moment it was hit, then it looks 100% offside to me. Consider the angle of the camera, take the line of the box as a reference point. Morata's left foot and maybe head look comfortably offside. On video replay it also looked offside.

That was shit and predictable. The players turned up for the midweek Champions League match but then went back to bottling a Premier League game. Could be 5 points behind 4th by the time we kick off at Man City next Sunday, which looks very likely with Liverpool and Spurs facing Newcastle and Huddersfield at home respectively. Bossed United in that first half but never pressed home the advantage and let them back in through stupid mistakes. And what about Conte? Mourinho tweaked things at HT and Conte didn't. Was proactive even trying to change things when it was clear we weren't dominant anymore. Only reacted after going down, as always.

Blaming taking off Hazard is an easy cop out, he was shit but Pedro wasn't any better.
