Do we? Look at how this team looks when Hazard is not playing or when he's not in the best shape. The attacking wingers are mediocre and there is no alternative for Hazard.

Of course we do. We don't have hazard yesterday but we still have willian, Musonda, Pedro. They are not close to hazard bu they are serviceable player.

But imagine if Alonso is inured, we have to Pedro there, he is not a wb or we play azpi there where he gave us 0 threat going forward. 

And like yesterday bakayoko is injured. We have to play cesc + Kante against big side and it was a disaster. 

It was obvious we need wb + 1 mid

I agree, but my point is that we are making efforts to bring reinforcements when it comes to WB and midflienders, but there's nothing being done about Hazard's alternative or the attacking wingers. Yes, we do have Willian and Pedro, but these guys (with all due respect) would be bench warmers at Europe's top clubs. Musonda's not really an option when you are aiming for UCL and EPL glory. He's one for the future, but can't count on Charly Musonda to take you to the UCL semi-finals.

Because those positions are the priority, we don't have unlimited transfer fund. If you use the money to sign a quality winger, we won't have any money left to sign wb + 1 cm.

That is my problem. Why is paying 60m for Van Dijk (a central defender, where you actually have plenty of options) a priority when your creativity is absolutely ruined if Hazard's not available?

Monaco dislike this post  Mbappe, Lemar, Bernardo Silva and other Monaco youngsters had "average" stats before last season, something like Boga did in Ligue 1... and I think Musonda and even Boga have more talent than all of them apart from Mbappe  
Two quality wingbacks who can walk straight into first eleven, all-around midfielder for rotation and give Musonda&Boga a bigger rotation role upfront

The club has never cared about 'creativity'...thats why natural talents like KdB & Mata were sold off in favor of the 'hard-working' type e.g. Oscar and Willian.

I really wish we had gone after someone like James Rodriguez as we need a second player capable of creating goals out of nothing.   Bayern already have 4-5 of the creative type yet they wasted no time adding to their firepower up front.

yup and according to the sun (I know..), liverpool have given up their chase for him altogether, we basically have a free shot at him. He's still not training with the Southampton squad as far as I know so it seems there's no reason we shouldn't get him... I like Cahill a lot for his character, big goals in big moments, that he's British etc but VVD is a class above IMO.

I wouldn't say he implicates only for LFC. We were interested in him 2 months ago but didn't want to pay £70m. Interesting stuff you could read between the lines last couple of weeks one and of them we never left the table actually just waiting for the right moment and them to cut the price. I would be more scared if he goes to City.
