the starting XI (and still had youth like Mount, James, Tammy, RLC, etc to replace or roatate with certain ones) we could have had if we had not made bad sales, made sales at the right time, signed the right youth when they did tryouts, and not cocked up multiple bids

I know his injuries have been different but this all started when we rushed him back for the Europa League final. Since then, it's just one injury after another. Some folks have a lot to answer for...

People will constantly justify it as we have the trophy, but it's normally best to look at the long term picture.

Yeah but do you really think international teams are as bothered about club level and vice versa when it comes to the competitive international games? Hes one of their best players, if there was to be a chance, theyd want him there to play. As would we if the PL was in a similar format to international qualifiers. 

His injuries this season have been very concerning though.
