Hahahahaha

Ukraine's embattled president has included the left foot of England star John Terry in a bizarre list of reasons why his country is facing a political crisis, it emerged today.

Viktor Yanukovych said the Chelsea defender's controversial clearance that led to a 'goal' being disallowed in Euro 2012 is one reason why he resents the EU.

Galatasaray are putting together a £10million deal in a bid to lure John Terry to Turkey.

Terry’s deal at Stamford Bridge expires in the summer and Chelsea, in the light of his outstanding form this season, are expected to offer him an extension .

But that will only be for 12 months and champions Galatasary are prepared to offer the 33-year-old a two-year deal.

Their £5million-a-season offer ‘only’ comes in at £100,000 a week – but that will be TAX-FREE.

Plenty of Premier League clubs are monitoring the situation but would have to pay considerably more than a weekly £100,000 to tempt Terry.

Galatasaray meet Chelsea in the last 16 of the Champions League at the end of next month.

The Turkish side have spent heavily in recent times, recruiting Terry’s former team-mate Didier Drogba and Dutch midfield star Wesley Sneijder.

And, of course, they hired Roberto Mancini in the summer. Mancini’s stock has been strengthened by qualification for the knock-out round in Europe but he is under pressure to close an eight-point gap to league leaders Fenerbahce.

Mancini and Galatasary are free to talk to Terry now but the ex-England captain is likely to wait to see what Chelsea have to say first.

Jose Mourinho will be desperate for Terry to stay and the strong bonds between player and the club mean Chelsea remains the place he will most likely be playing next season.

But that will not stop the Turkish giants trying.
