So much negativity in this thread. We get it, we are bad in the back line and the middle. 

 

The positive thing is, this team is very capable offensively. We've created a lot of chances in that first half and have been unlucky not to score.

To be more specific about the negatives... Baba is quite poor, and Cesc is so overrated and done... He shouldn't be playing at a club the level of Chelsea. He isn't that calibre of player anymore.

- Too easily cut open on the break. Man City are like United once were, pace and precision.

How many times we have conceded these sort of deflected goals?..sums up our season....cannot defend the middle due to weak pivot ..they are carving us open due to our amateur defending. a top class team should not let so many one-on-one's..our attacking is not sharp in final third...

You can see clear as day where someone like Kanté would slot straight into our team. We desperately need a midfield beast patrolling around the center circle and not allowing teams to rush right through us.

Our first two signings should be Kanté and another marauding CM. We stand no chance with this current pairing against even decent sides.
