Look at the benifits these under 8s are getting. And we got to remember that some of the lads in the academy have been with us since they were 8. Only thing they dreamt of is to play in 1st team like theyre heroes. Only to be sent out on loan. Must be heartbreaking. But what an apprenticeship they got so they SHOULD have the skills to play anywhere.

We just couldn't handle Crouch today. Not every team has Crouch Don't forget that we conceded only 4 goals in 13 games now...

That's no excuse, is it? Crouch is 35 for goodness sake(!) and the way we dealt with him today was atrocious. Why was Alonso marking him for Stoke's first goal? Why didn't we deal with the ball properly for their second? We had so many players back and we couldn't deal with Crouch, Bojan and Diouf. We only conceded 2 goals in the 12 games before today (mind you that 2 goals - one was from distance, the other an own goal) because we defended properly and barely gave any clear cut chances away. And of all the things to struggle to deal with, we struggled with the route one play.

If I remember correctly he left because the Juventus board did not want to spend and get the target he wanted. 

I wonder if we will have the same problem here. We will only know if comes next summer we are not getting non of our targets and waiting for the last minute to get deals done.
