Did you guys honestly thought we would be playing with youths? Be happy for Kennedy. No way we were going to play RLC + Traore + Kennedy or both Traore and Kennedy at the same time.

Brace yourself.. the saviour Remy is here!

Id much rather a league with two or three outstanding teams, theirs a reason England teams have suffered in Europe since the league has become more "competitive".

Exactly. I remember the 2008-2009 season, when Liverpool and Man. United were the main title contenders, with us being a solid 3rd. And in the UCL, the semifinals were us vs. Barca and United vs. Arsenal. Those were the times.

I see no reason you could not have had this:

- - - - - Courtois - - - - - -

Azpi - Cahill - Terry - Kenedy

- - RLC - Mikel - -

Willian - Cesc - Pedro

- - - - - Traoe - - - - -

How does this line up kill us?

I was not stating what I want, just stating what I think is obvious. To say that the "competition" is poor in PL is criminal. The quality on the other hand has deteriorated massively.

I can honestly see this being one of those matches where we have fewer than 2 shots on target the whole way through. Combination of slow, ponderous midfield with little creativity, a striker who is constantly offside and hasn't been playing at all, and mostly because these are all dead rubber games now so no one will be up for it.

You are right. Then we all will be screaming for some subs and hoping for RLC, Traore or Pato to come in but Hiddink decides to sub Fabregas for Matic and the struggle is real.
