Drog says Mourinho has unfinished business here! Ofc he does. He needs to lead us to our 2nd Champions League next year!

You need to be in the CL to win it

Just have a little feeling we will miss out. As for Jose , Didi i never wrong.

Btw, I heard part of Drogba's interview which will be on in full on Sky today before the CL matches. The media is just putting words in his mouth. He praised Jose, but when asked if Jose will be the next Chelsea manager he replied jokingly "Maybe it will be me". It's a complete non-story, imo.

Does anyone else cringe a little when Drogba and Essien both call Mourinho "My dad" basically?

It was 'cute' the first 1 or 2 times. Now it's just really odd and almost questionable.

I always did wonder what the secret was to Mourinho's man-management. Perhaps he tucks his players up in bed at night to create a bond while reading them a story book to prepare them for a big game?

I assume it's just not that uncommon for Africans to call someone who has been hugely important to them in their lives dad? It does sound weird to me too, but I'm just going to guess it's a cultural difference, doubt he tucks their beds.. At least not every day of the week, he wouldn't have time for that! Bonding with your team can be very important though, there's obviously different approaches and both can work, but for Mourinho it seems important that players can come to him and get help, even if he's having a power struggle in Madrid right now.

It happens to a lot of interviews, specially with Neymar!
